GLM & FD08: Hubby and I will be at as many games as our schedule permits this year...we sat in the student section for the BRF this past season and it was awesome. I actually saw you perform FD08 (either that night or one of the games you came back for) but didn't leave my seat because I was absorbing the experience. I will find you both and introduce myself...maybe Wicked will help us find you as he and I collaborate on recruit sightings from time to time :) I hope to meet the rest of you as well!

All in favor? All opposed? Abstentions?

Good riddance, Hokydad.

Back to something meaningful, DrD, I would actually be surprised if Chase didn't come close to reaching Brad Tapper's mark. The A Team will get it done this coming up year.

Chase could do it-but we have to find a way to free him up to take that wicked one timer of his. Later in the season teams found a way to keep him from positioning himself just off the crease and slapping one by the keeper. We need to find ways especially on the power play to keep him just out of traffic and somewhere about 10-15 feet from the crease. Getting to 31 goals can be done but you also have to stay healthy for the entire season.:)

Dr. D seems to be our resident mixologist.

I bartended much of my way through medical school which gave me quite a good start. And of course, Jenny and I do like to imbibe at times;)

This is terrific...I get to hang with wicked smart guys who know hockey, have good grammar, write well, do equations, play music and make videos. All we need is someone who can suggest a good cocktail (for medicinal purposes, of course  ...sound like anyone we know?)...

Doc...you missed your original shout out...:D

Just get a hat trick during all the NC games, and he's got it. :D

Columbus Blue Jackets development camp roster with Allen York listed as one of five goalies attending. York and Wesslau are the two best in the Blue Jackets system now as they've not qualified either of the goalies they had in the AHL last year.

That was teed up for you and you answered it literally? You have much to learn, young Padowan.

My wit, evidently to your chagrin, does not extend to your levels. That and I couldn't think of a good one.

I have only been skimming the thread-there was just too much venom being spouted back and forth. Otherwise I would have been quick to recommend one of the various vodka drinks-love that Van Gogh Dutch Caramel/ginger ale concoction Jenny and I had last night along with the best nachos on the planet.:D

Hope Chase has a great year and gets 31+. He's got a shot. If he doesn't it's probably because the scoring will be spread around. Teams can no longer focus on stopping one line and with two lines it is tough but I seriously think we are looking at three solid scoring lines at least one of them an A line and a good looking power play. Make that two A lines. Van Gogh melon vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and a splash of lime. The cranberry juice makes it Healthy.

I would have most definitely gone with the still hockey related and yet not quite what he was looking for Ratings Percentage Index. It's all about timing and knowing how far to go. That, and eventually telling him the right answer - we're not here to be complete tools, just to have a good time.

Today is 29 June 2010. There are 101 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 8 October for the start of next season.

I have a suggestion:

Can't we just ignore this guy already? Each time we respond or refer to him he is encouraged to continue. Let's discuss the Engineer recruits and team, shall we? Ignore him please

Finally, a ray of sunshine and common sense.

For the summer might I suggest mixing Firefly Sweat Tea Vodka with a tablespoon of club soda a wedge of lime and pour it over a glass full of ice.

Congrats to Dino Macaluso's son Joe for his strong play in the Troy Invitational Golf tournament. That is one of the premiere golf events in upstate NY. He led after two days.
That par three 15th green is just plain nasty!

I had wondered if he was Dino's son. There is a strong resemblance.
