Ahh, THOSE two -- love the revisionist history.

Newsflash from HD: defenseman struggle playing for a 1st year USHL team, that fired its coach in February and ended up among the lowest scoring teams in the league...WOW there's a shocker.

Perhaps you'll now jolt us with a report that more oil will enter gulf waters today?

"He will have fun in college and with a couple more years in jrs has a chance at a solid carear at RPIhe will struggle in USHL. Look no further than the two big D at Yougnstown and how fart they dropped last year. Both stronger and higher rated and got chewed up and dropped like rocks and did not get drafted and don't have D 1 deals Which is borderline unheard of"

This was the exact quote, based upon this article.
Jason Koehler Breaks Down 2009 Entry Draft Class
Written by Paul Teeple Wednesday, 20 May 2009 09:56

YOUNGSTOWN, OH (Wednesday, May 13th, 2009) – Wednesday marked the next step in the building of the USHL’s newest team—the Youngstown Phantoms—with the completion of the 2009 USHL Entry Draft.

In all, sixteen new players were acquired by the Phantoms from around the country.

Here's a brief look at the players, in order of selection, with comments from Phantoms Director of Player Personnel Jason Koehler.
With the number five overall pick in the first round, the Phantoms selected 1991-born, 6'3” 190 lb. defenseman Dan Senkbeil from the San Jose Jr. Sharks U18 AAA team. Senkbeil is currently one of the most talked-about amateur players in the country and looks to be a lock for the NHL Draft this June. He'll help anchor a strong, pro-look defense for next season. He is getting college interest from some of the top hockey programs in the country and can immediately step into the Phantoms’ top defense pair.
The Phantoms’ second choice, 18th overall, was 1991-born, 6'6” 220 lb. defenseman J.D. Carrabino from Millbrook Prep in New York. Carrabino hails from New Canaan, CT, and adds another impact defenseman to the Phantoms’ blue line. This is another defenseman who is getting many looks from big-time college programs and NHL teams for this summer’s NHL Draft. His stock has risen since great showings at the Beantown Classic in March and the Chicago High School Showcase in April.
The third round provided the Phantoms with back to back selections after the team traded forward Matt Lindblad—acquired in Monday’s USHL Expansion Draft from the Chicago Steel—to the Sioux Falls Stampede for the Stampede’s third round selection in the Draft.

You thought wrong, Forrest. For the third time, you have a reading comprehension problem. I never said I was leaving, I was asking if you were leaving.

Obviously, the broken record method doesn't work on getting anything through your head.

Great answer.
I know your altered state makes comprehending even your own mangled, flatulent words tough, but this what you actually wrote:

Nowhere in this post did you mention CSB rankings or B.S. press pieces written by Y'town's front office... you simply wrote "the two big D..." I quickly pointed that one of their "big D" had both a D1 ride and a CSB rank...that's when you started backpedalling like Bill Clinton in the Lewinsky scandal.

Adios.

I have a suggestion:

Can't we just ignore this guy already? Each time we respond or refer to him he is encouraged to continue. Let's discuss the Engineer recruits and team, shall we? Ignore him please

Both were on prelim draft lists ahead of the rpi player

They were drafted one and two
They were on team from day one and the two in the article quoted

They were the two who didn't get deals after all the hype with any colleges

Well aware of the other kids deal
Watched him at WJC

You look like a moron saying otherwiset

Bye I am done
Exactly what I knew would happen did

Fyi
The Dub asst coach was really impressed that slappah lied and tried to insinuate the other big dman mugged the kid when it was total bs

Amazing how you act so offended but had zero problems shoving another kid under the bus and blaming another kid who did nothing

All in favor? All opposed? Abstentions?

Good riddance, Hokydad.

Back to something meaningful, DrD, I would actually be surprised if Chase didn't come close to reaching Brad Tapper's mark. The A Team will get it done this coming up year.

Speaking of the A Team, weren't we going to be entertained by a certain technically talented fellow who was putting audio to the 'A-Team' Visual he produced? Was that GLM or you FD08?:)

GLM was responsible for the visual, and I believe he was the one to give indication regarding the question concerning audio. However, seeing as how the Pep Band has the song in their repertoire, that may make things a little more, well, "home-y".

If we ever get into making movies, I'll be the official-unofficial voice-over guy.

This is terrific...I get to hang with wicked smart guys who know hockey, have good grammar, write well, do equations, play music and make videos. All we need is someone who can suggest a good cocktail (for medicinal purposes, of course  ...sound like anyone we know?)...

Dr. D seems to be our resident mixologist.

I'm sure we've crossed paths at HFH last season and just haven't officially spoken is all. We can make sure to change that this year if you come out again this season.

Absolutely. Though for one game you should enjoy the different perspective from section 33... burgie12, myself, and the other loud ones in the section are loads of fun. Plus, many know who I am (I'm not exactly that difficult to pick out of a crowd); it'd be nice to finally meet you. I know there's a few people on here I already know, but I'd love to add to the list.
