Most likely would mean that it is a TOTAL of 7 more years.

MSU names Anastos Coach same day as extension for SA. SA was one of the names bandied about. Wonder if there is a connection.

My best guess is that since they also announced the new football head coach today, they don't want the news of Appert's extension to overshadow the announcement of the new football coach.

And here's Kevin Beattie's twitter message about it:

That confirms that it's 7 years total, not in addition to the extension he received last year.

Yeah, I'm a troll(sarcasm). As for where RPI finished, I stand corrected. http://www.uscho.com/conference/ecac/ shows tied for 5th but listed as the 6th team down, honest mistake. I also wanted to say that I am not a trolling sioux bandwagon jumper. I was born and raised in GF and have been a sioux fan my whole life(through good and bad). Nobody on this thread had brought up the good goaltending (not a brick wall) on UND's team. Thats all I was trying to piont out. If my post came of as conceded or "troll"worthy I apologize. No hard fellings on this end.
One more thing before I go, good luck to both teams this Saturday and GO SIOUX.

from my post those are the 4 words you choose to respond to?

1 post about a statistical fact about UND's goalie. Did I bash RPI? I don't think I did. I posted more statistics about RPI and what as you said i "tried to devine" which, from other posts i have read didnt seem to far off. Namely RPI's strength being its defense.

So... the new Pickem on the main USCHO page has the ability for joining a Group...

Has anyone set up an RPI group yet for the bracket Pickem? If so, please send me the group name & password, please?

Telling you something you already know? If you don't recall you asked me what I knew of RPI.

Yes, because I knew you wouldn't be able to answer, and you didn't. I know your type - all talk and no brain. That's not to say that all Sioux fans are like that, but you're certainly a glaring exception.

If you look reeeeal closely, you will see that actually finished tied for 4th, not 5th, and because the tie breaker that USCHO uses is alphabetical order, we are listed as 6th, not 5th as produced by the actual tie breaker.

I'm excited too, but I definitely want to give them time to practice their hearts out :D definitely got their work cut out for them this whole tournament. But they've had a nice long break, they are no longer sick, nor injured, they've practiced, and are motivated. I'm confident it will be a solid competition.
