RPI 2010-2011 VI- Red Dead Redemption

Re: RPI 2010-2011 VI- Red Dead Redemption

Hey everyone, newb to the threads here. Recent RPI graduate (May 2010), still living near the area, been lurking these forums for a while not saying anything and figured it was time to just finally register.

Will most likely be at the Recovery Room Saturday to root for our boys. :D And in reply to recent posts... glad to hear Seth Appert get a new contract, very well-deserved.

LET'S GO RED!

Welcome. Stay around. :)

Does anyone know of any syndication of Saturday's game other than on Timewarner Sports?

Re: RPI 2010-2011 VI- Red Dead Redemption

An omen-A large Redtail Hawk has begun nesting in the tree right near our home here. Have not seen any of them around here in almost 20 years-Is this the return to power?

Miami is a 1-seed.

Good luck to RPI and all the ECAC entrants.

Re: RPI 2010-2011 VI- Red Dead Redemption

Congrats to SA, great news! Also Tim Landis looks to be a nice replacement for Joe King as RPI football coach, former Patriot League head coach at Bucknell and D1 offensive coordinator at San Jose St.

Re: RPI 2010-2011 VI- Red Dead Redemption

I have never claimed to be a "super genius" but thanks for the compliment.
What I know RPI.......

Finished 6th in the ECAC
8 players over 10 goals, 0 over 15...Tells me not a Strong offense
26th in the nation in offense...........Tells me not a Strong offense
7th in the nation in defense...........Tells me you rely on defense to win games. Hense my previous statement that D will not win the game for you.

So nothing, then? I kind of stopped bothering to read when you said we finished 6th in ECAC (hint: we finished higher than that, and its easy to verify by simply going to http://www.ecachockey.com/men/index).

D won't win the game? So you mean we have to make goals? We're going up against a goalie, not a brick wall sealing the net. No matter how good your goalie is, he will let shots through eventually.

Quit trolling, it only makes UND fans look worse.

The ugly chicken is coming back?!

Nev er have I gotten so close to on eof these majestic birds. Jenny has always had a love for falconry and recognized this fellow immediately. He's a big one and getting quite comfortable here. I am pretty sure Jen will be out feeding him soon. Personally i am a bit afraid of him. Just thought it interesting that I haven't seen one around here since the 1980's and one reappears as we prepare to score in the Tournament.

Re: RPI 2010-2011 VI- Red Dead Redemption

Very glad for our fearless leader and great coach. He was just reuped last year and has three years left on that contract. Does this mean you take the three plus the seven or... Interested in RB's take. Add Denver to the list of folks most likely sniffing around SA in the likely event Gwoz leaves for "greener pastures". I think COL Knowlton would know if they were looking at SA because of his connection. Maybe this was a reason. This of course is idle specualtion that I am famous for and I am most likely full of it (I better not see this last line in a quote:p). Bottom line - Great news that Coach is staying

I had the same thought. It is weird, however, that the announcement came through the Alumni Assocation. Maybe it means that not all of the i's have been dotted and all of the t's crossed yet.

It seems to me that isn't something you announce during the week of preparation for the National Tournament and kind of strange it was leaked.
