Its also important to remember that our guys have been practicing without on-ice coaching....Now that coaches can run practices Seth will snap the whip.As I recall, a couple years ago there were some big hits in the scrimmage that led to a pretty heated debate on here about the appropriate intensity level when playing against your own team. I am on the side that if you are going to play a game with a scoreboard, refs, etc. then all-out is the only appropriate way to play. Most others seemed to disagree. I do think that the apparent lack of tempo in the scrimmage is an inevitable consequence of suggesting that players hold up in some aspects of the game (if such a suggestion was directly made or even implied prior to the scrimmage).
