It matters what criteria they use, and if they feel obligated to pick someone from every school (e.g. Union). Also, hopefully they only count what they did in the ECAC, that is Terreri, for example, shouldn't make it.

Maybe not Terreri, but there were a few other guys on those early 80s Providence teams that should show up.

Off topic. Jerry had 1 assist tonight. Also broke his nose he thinks . He got boarded from behind. He was fast and great on the pk.

Probably this belongs on the alumni thread since it deals with a former RPI player. But thanks for the information.

I'm thinking that was a tongue-in-cheek remark, yes? Mark would like nothing better than to have his son in an RPI jersey this weekend. If the creeps in Toronto and Chicago hadn't waited until the summer to lure D'Amigo and Pirri away he might very well have been at RPI.
Cut the Jooris family some slack, this is not like the Huxley situation at Harvard.

Oates and Juneau should make the list. For some reason I don't thing Laing will(but he sure deserves to be there). I can perhaps think of one or two others who could be close (Jerry Knightley) but I would doubt any of them make the list.

Laing? One of the best of the first 50 years of ECAC play? Not close.

It was tongue in cheek. That was what the first smiley was supposed to mean.

I don't think he will make it but 13 shutouts and .929 save percentage over a 4 year career should rank him fairly highly. There will probably be 7 or 8 goalies on the list and I just do not think he will make that group-but he should not miss by all that much.

You guys got a great recruit in Zalewski....dam, he wanted to go to Gate to play with his buddy Wilson.

Re: RPI 2010-11: Houston, We've had a Facelift!

Disgraceful call. Hagwell should be ashamed of the refs he runs out there but lest I forget he has no shame. Appert took the team off the ice without shaking hands and well he should have because Leaman and his band of trapping men took cheap shots at the end of game. He must have learned that playing at that powerhouse Cortland. We will lose Seth Appert if the ECAC keeps this up. Coach was off the wall at the end of the game. Gates was looking to make that call. Who calls that at the end of a game without looking for it. There is a mound of evidence that the ECAC has a bias against Seth. Exhibit 1 - disallowing a goal with 4 seconds. Disgraceful... utterly disgraceful.
