Finally... our new logos are finally out! Check them out and let us know what you think!

I like the new logo. I hope that WaP will be offering a line of apparel with the logo on it.

That's crazy, a uniform penalty. I guess someone is going to have to help JDA get dressed. ;)

As a peace offering for infringing on the copyrighted "Black Friday" motif, I want to mention a great place for meeting before and after games in Troy. Has anyone tried "Bacchus" on Second Street? It's below Daisy Baker's and they serve some great wood fired pizza and have a lineup of some nice brews. It's a sort of cavern like atmosphere (in a good sense), and the staff is very friendly. Check it out if you can't get into the Dinosaur, which you probably can't.

Yet another victim of the Rob Ray rule.

I can't even get into Dinosaur out here. How is anyone going to get into Dinosaur in Troy?!

Re: RPI 2010-11: Houston, We've had a Facelift!

To commemorate its 50th anniversary, the ECAC is coming up with a list of its top 50 players historically. They are releasing them five at a time. Bob Brinkworth is in the first group that is being released http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2010-11/50th_Anniversary/20101111_Top_50_Players_Seg_No._1.

Brinkworth has scored 1.54 goals per goal. Now that is impressive, besides for meaningless. :D

How are you able to score goals worth more than 1 goal? ;)

That was my point. :)

I should be the last one to complain about typos, but they also managed to duplicate the paragraphs about two of the players.

All five are well worthy of the honor. Interestingly, Brinkworth was the only one that I didn't follow since he graduated the year before I arrived in Troy. Hopefully, RPI gets several more members of in the top 50. Oates, Juneau, and Laing at a minimum.

Oates and Juneau should make the list. For some reason I don't thing Laing will(but he sure deserves to be there). I can perhaps think of one or two others who could be close (Jerry Knightley) but I would doubt any of them make the list.

It matters what criteria they use, and if they feel obligated to pick someone from every school (e.g. Union). Also, hopefully they only count what they did in the ECAC, that is Terreri, for example, shouldn't make it.

I would imagine they will try to spread out the picks to include all the schools in the ECAC. That is why I think we will only place 3 on the list at most. Your point about it involving only what they did in the ECAC is well taken.

Off topic. Jerry had 1 assist tonight. Also broke his nose he thinks . He got boarded from behind. He was fast and great on the pk.
Cool story. Now go fix your PtC choices.

GO RED! There will be at least four RPI students attending the funeral on Friday.
