Past performance does not guarantee future results. I'm just sayin'.

That's like saying the sky is blue. ;) However, the criterion on which he was given a nomination for the Hobey Baker award was based upon his domination of the ECAC in points and goals. I think that if he wants to get back to the same levels as last year, he'll have to pick up the pace.

If you listen to the interviews Chase has had this year you will hear him say his goals are team oriented. I doubt he is thinking about the Hobey Baker Award right now. After looking back at last years points through 7 games he had 7 points. This year he has 9 points in 7 games. With every team keying on him and his line I would say he is doing alright for RPI. Furthermore players bring something beyond points to a game. Chase has not only brought the numbers since he arrived to campus as a freshman but he has brought good energy and a winning spiriit to the line up. I'm just sayin'.

OK only 2 days to get those picks in for the ECAC Pick The Standings Contest.

I went over to HFH to buy my tickets today for the Union game next week. Of course the box office was relocated to the ECAV which I didn't know. From the outside at least, the new facade and window banks looked great. BTW, that ECAV is a beautiful facility. The lady in the box office said that they are still having some electrical issues at HFH and that the new windows apparently have been melting the ice so some sort of shading installation is in the works. I'm guessing moonlight won't have the same effect. ;)

Insert joke here regarding college administrative designers and the greenhouse effect. Insert extra insult about western exposures here.

One thing I did notice is that they had put a curtain up during the games. Hope that helps.

That's great, I will be checking my mail box today.
Looking forward to this weekend, as I will be in attendance at Bright. Harvard people also were quick about getting the tickets out.

It's a moot point...daylight savings starts Sunday. I'd bet the finished product will include some darkening curtains.

Moot point for men's hockey games, maybe. The sun will still be shining for the 2pm/3pm home games the women's hockey team has, as well as the daytime practices for each team. Should be interesting to see what they do for the finished work.

True, but the sun is/will be a lot lower in the sky...and there are fewer sunny days in the late fall and winter...I honestly don't think its a big deal. If this is the biggest issue they have with the renovation then it will have been a success.

They have sunny days in Troy? My memories are from long ago but I thought the daily forecast there was almost always overcast-and a sunny day was when it was mostly cloudy. :)
