Without a Peer makes the complex understandable with yet another season reset.

Thanks RC-it makes the almost endless number of permutations seem sensible. I am just hoping for one more victory this coming weekend to insure our first non losing season in 5 years. I do think wherever we finish, we are a team that not many others want to face in the playoffs.

Wicked, next BRF you should bring your Lab dressed in Red...I'll happily puppy sit ...and, RC, if you let us know who you are I will give you a bottle of the same stuff I gave Wicked...let's just say it helps on a cold night at HFH...

Jim (you know who you are)...it was great meeting you!

I had the best experience sitting among the students (even though the loss last night was somewhat indescribable from a game perspective in a negative way...). The hubster went to buy a souvenir and the schools theme song began playing...the students on either side of me put an arm around me and treated me like one of their own...I will never forget how they sang and what camaraderie I felt. Luke is gonna' love this place!!!!!!! (and hopefully the BRF will will resume next year!!!):)

Classy of Princeton to continue pushing for another goal in the final minute with Harkenrider in net and having already scored twice on him.

Their noses are still bent out of shape for the Wally McDonough incident...

Funny you should mention it -- he's actually a guide dog in training - and he ha achieved to the point where he is allowed in public places with his jacket on...:-)

And yes, I can attest that Babo's moonshine is the perfect pregame elixir !

OK WS...Then we have work to do in real time with sweetums lab...we can strike up conversations with future recruits by posting me with sun glasses and the pup-in-training next to the recruits...I can tell the player that my dog gives signals of friendliness and well being. If he asks why blind people are at the game, I can tell him my family member is the REFEREE!!!!!;)

The alma mater is played during the second intermission. The fight song is what is played when the boys come onto the ice for the start of each period, when we score, and at the end of the game. Check GRuss's signature for a bunch of links for more information on the pep band's awesomeness.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...I will humbly do my homework. GO RED!

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Just got back.

Great first game, but we couldn't BUY a shot against Kalemba.

I mean no offense to our gold medal winner, but Jerry should practice shooting at an open net this week. How many open net shots has he missed? I can understand if he's off-balance, but that one against Princeton was a gimme.

And, if I remember this next year, I will NOT play with the band for Freakout. Granted it's superstition and anything can happen, but with me up there, we haven't won a single one. Oh well, like RC mentioned in a previous thread, it's worth 2 points, not in the part of the season that actually matters.

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

I agree with all of this -especially the feeling I had after failing to score in the 1st. *I would add that Kelemba was on fire and played like they keeper most of us remember him to be.
It was not only his puck stopping, but that was one of the best displays of rebound control I've seen in a long time if not ever.He did not give anything up ! ! !

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Gut check time! The Engineers gave up in the second period after they couldn't score in the first. They should be ashamed of themselves.
It time for Seth to put the hammer down.

That effort on "freakout night" was pathetic. They should really be ashamed. This team is too talented to let a banged up Tiger team beat them 7 to 0 in their own barn. They embarrassed themselves.

I hope Appert wasn't serious when he said "it was just one of those nights"
Yeah, one of those nights when your team played without any leadership.

Ok, they ran into a hot goalie. What did this goalie have like 4 out of the 7 goals scored?

Somebody on this team needs to step up and grow a set.
