RIT used to play here.

Re: RIT used to play here.

RIT looks a little shaky, hope they settle down.

End of 1:
Goals - Wisconsin 2, RIT 0
Shots - Wisconsin 10, RIT 6
My estimation of Grade-A scoring opportunities - Wisconsin 5, RIT 4

RIT is an adjustment or two away from making this a game. 40:00 left to play. This game is far from over.

I am biased, of course, but i think RIT may need more than 2 adjustments....UW is controlling basically every aspect of this game. They are skating harder, playing faster. RIT is killing penalties pretty well, though.

End of 2nd:

Goals - Wisconsin 6, RIT 1

Ugly period for RIT. Started to get chippy for a bit there, and they suffered as a result. That one very late in the period might spur some confidence and more organized play, but unless Wisconsin sits on their ***es in the 3rd, this game is over.

That 10-1 prediction doesn't look so ridiculous right now. Mania, is it crying time yet?

Well. It was embarassing.  But I'm still proud of my Tigers. This was the worst beating they've taken since miving to DI. But it was still a great day, and a great memory. Any real fan knows what I'm talking about.

Re: RIT used to play here.

Cheer up RIT.First trip to the DI tourney and you lose in the national semi's;what did you expect.... to win it all?

That's what the heart was hoping.:D :D On the bright side RIT was still one of the last 4 standing.

Heck I'm already looking forward to next season. We lose some leadership and goaltending, but the underclassmen learned a lot and the incoming class looks pretty good. I not going to wish the summer away, but I will be looking forward to October and next season. RIT will be OK, I just hope Utica gets themselves straightened out.

God I love college hockey!!!!!!!!

I know it wasn't fun to end the season with such a thumping, but going 2-1 in the tournament against Denver, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin is pretty solid for anyone.

Re: RIT used to play here.

I have to admit that I never heard of the ECAC-W,Elmira,Hobart,Utica or even RIT until my son started playing for M'ville in 06.All in all I recommend the DIII hockey experience and wish good luck and good fortune to all of the future participants and posters.
