I don't think anyone said dynasty - but dominant is a very appropriate way to describe RIT's first few seasons in Atlantic Hockey in the regular season.

Just drawing a parallel in two concepts. Read the whole post.

Thoughts on this weekends games? Bentley has owned us the last few years. Back when Brandon Komm was their goalie I used to fondly think of them as our little brother especially after our three game playoff win against them at the Ritter. Now I’m not sure what to expect. Both teams are playing well, something has to give. At a minimum a split, anything less would be a disappointment not the end of the world but not good.

Just no sweeps against for the rest of the season. Take points, all will be fine.

Perception different from reality again. Bentley swept RIT 2-0 last season ('17-18'). The teams split each of the three previous seasons ago (2-2 '16-'17), (2-2 '15-'16) and (1-1 '14-'15)

The really interesting part of this is that the ROAD team has won every game going back to January 24, 2015 (the last 11 games).

The last time the home team won a game was a 2-1 Bentley victory at the JAR on January 23, 2015, where RIT outshot the Falcons 33-17 but Bentley goaltender Gabe Antoni had a stellar night.

That might be why it feels like Bentley has owned us. I bet the Bentley fans would have the opposite perception.

If you want to think that RIT beat Bentley in 2017 or 2018 go right ahead.😄

And RIT won the games in October 2016 - the last time they were on the road against Bentley.

I guess if you say years instead of seasons, you are right.

I just hope the games get played. I know the team already left. The trip back could be a tad rough.

There's no going back Saturday night and Sunday until late. Roads will bad until the evening

Yup, still reeling from losing two of three at Ritter to end our 2011-12 season. Last time we made it to Blue Cross was March 2009.

Hope that you like our new arena. Unfortunately for blazer, different pizza than his fav from the old JAR.

The trip back could be a tad rough.

The team would normally bus back after the Saturday game, but they are staying over and leaving Sunday morning. Game time on Saturday is staying at 7:05.

Normally games I attend but in Hawaii trying to get back to Boston on Sunday so I'm just eating Ahi Tuna and drinking Mai Tia's.

Tigers and Falcons tie, I guess they have gone to shared custody of the wins going forward.:D

Busses are being banned on the New York State Thruway and other Interstate expressways in NY after 3:00pm today. So, in essence, RIT's decision would have been made for them.

I’m noticing a lot of schools located along the Thruway are postponing their games today. Including RIT women hosting Mercyhurst (a shame for RIT, because they are red hot right now).

I guess RIT thought the game started at 7:30 last night because it was about then when they started playing well. Great that they showed heart in coming from behind when they were nearly caught from behind twice against AIC. Every point is important.

FWIW - College Hockey News predicts RIT will be third at the end of the year behind AIC and Air Force.

You are correct just drove down the Thruway from Albany to the Hudson Valley. Stopped at a rest area and was surprised to see a big notice on their information screen stating that from NYC to the PA line all 18 wheelers were banned as of 3pm. Was able to make it home before any snow and heading to Army - RMC tonight which is still schedule for a 7pm start. Snow projections are all over the place, was supposed to start around 4pm down here now it looks more like 8pm.

I guess that I cannot buy you that beer then, blazer. Nor, our much improved pizza over that at the JAR, at least according to most people's taste buds. Good luck getting home from Hawaii.

Appeared that you had a good contingent of fans at our new arena last night; I would have stopped over between periods to say hello, but I am battling a case of layrngitis.

1 point on the road on Friday? Good.

1 point on the road for the whole weekend? Not great, Bob. Not great.
