The Box Office at RIT isn't selling tickets over the phone for this game I was just told. Presumably so ticketmaster can bend you over with their service fees that almost double the cost of the tickets :rant:

I ordered through the Brick City site and wasn't charged a fee (since I pick up at the SAU). Also only 600 tix left

My buddy stopped by RIT today and picked up our group's - we're psyched and all set to go. Out of curiosity, do they sell beer at the Brick City game? IIRC Atlantic Hockey stops them at the AH championships.

I read somewhere they were having a special section for RIT and Amerks season previews. I doubt it has anything to do with a major announcement. A "meet the tigers" page with the entire roster seems like more of a "save/pick up the paper" than a major announcement, but *shrug* who knows.

Definitely can't call RIT's box office for tickets. Don't know about BCA's, though they close pretty early in the afternoon. Your best bet is to actually go to the field house or the BCA box office relatively early in the afternoon (RIT's box office is open til 6 I think, but who knows how long the tickets will last).

You must not remember the days when the D&C's attention to RIT was practically nil. This displays RIT right up there with the Amerks and Sabres, a great accomplishment compared to even five years ago.

Ah yes, didn't think of that. I got excited prematurely (wouldn't be the first time!) and as Ed pointed out, this kind of coverage is fantastic.

So what about the game? Does anyone think SLU has a chance against the Tigers? ;)

Do anyone of you know when the visitor's allotment of tickets for games typically go on sale? I would like to get a ticket for the November 25th game.

Most of our rink is general admission, except for a small section which is reserved seating. Although we don't usually get much in the way of visiting fans (I think mainly because of our conference) they do reserve several rows behind the visitors bench (which at Ritter is along the east side of the building, RIT sits opposite on the west side) for fans of the away team, these are General Admission seats. I am not sure if you need to be associated with the team in any official capacity to sit there, or just talk to the security guard.

Since the game is right after Thanksgiving, it is unlikely to sell out, but either way, provided you get there early enough on game night (doors open at 5:45) you should be fine with General Admission tickets, which can be purchased via the Gordon Fieldhouse Box Office at 585-475-4121.
