Foolish question, maybe, but do all teams travel by bus? Other than AFA, there's got to be some that are well off enough to travel by plane to distant barns.

Only a 14 hour drive from RIT to UAH if you don't stop.

Flights are not uncommon, for example to Alaska (Anchorage and Fairbanks) within the WCHA and CCHA. Everybody flies to AFA in AHA. Flights are typical for long distances in non-league games. RIT to Wisconsin, for example.

We seem to lack the spark that we need to pull us together as a team that can win consistently. Robert Morris played a good game; we did not. I imagine Coach Wilson will make practice something to remember when it starts again on the 26th.

Wilson said in the post-game interview that there's some players that are just sitting back, waiting for the easy goals.......obviously not happy with their play last night. Let's see what time away does to impove the outcome in Vermont.

If there was ever a good time for a break, this would be it. Having 4 non-conference games coming means that the Tigers can do a little expirimenting to try and get that spark or jump start certain people. Then it's back to league and hopefully some confidence builder games on the road at Sacred Heart.

Let's just hope the Tigers don't take SHU for granted, too. Nothing has been easy for this year's team. When you struggle to score goals, even your supposedly overmatched opponents have a shot.
I don't know if this is or isn't a good time for a break. Even a month off won't magically bring this team a scoring touch. If there are a couple guys who could use the time to heal bumps and bruises, it will help. The sad part is that there is a reasonable chance that this Tigers team may come into the second half of the season with a sub-.500 overall record for the first time in a long time. Let's hope they can pull off a shocker or two and avoid that.

I think RIT is going to have a hard time getting to BCA this year.

These next four game, for lack of a better term, are really exhibition games to figure out what the Tigers need to do to get back to their scoring ways. I don't know if we will see drastic changes in line changes or team philosophy or players just realizing that this year is fading and if they are going to get back to the NCAA, they need to start playing better.

And yet, the Tigers are tied for second place in the conference. If that scoring touch returns AND the defense and Madolora especially keep it up, the Tigers can win the conference.

I think that they'll get to the BCA without toooooo much difficulty. Winning the Regular Season title and then eventually the AHA Tourney are what I'm not too optimistic about...

Well when you struggle with getting goals against middle of the pack teams like Uconn and Niagara, I have no confidence in anything.
