... When you're having your clock cleaned by an obviously better team, cheering should generally be focused on encouraging your own team. The Corner Crew's insistence on telling Union that they "suck" long after it was clear that they did NOT suck was way over the top, and frankly, sounded pretty foolish.

The CC has become a regimented chearleading squad led by the goon. Few cheers are known and fewer and fewer each year get used because there is a direct line through the goon to the administration. There was a warning that anyone that started a chant learned from Miami at the FF would be thrown out (all of those cheers were encouraging ones) Without release of controll from the administration, your going to see the same thing over and over... with the same chants for every team regardless of the situation in the game.

As long as we keep it to a minimal per game I think Goon is ok with it considering we did the anal cheer on Saturday.
I have to say that there are a few people in the CC that needto get kicked for the better of the group.

If someone is doing something that would warrant them getting kicked out, let security deal with it. and if they are just doing dumb things that can be taken care of internaly (making the frat guys write RIT on their chests instead of their frat letters)

The point is, that there should be no figure to answer to, no babysitter. let us the do our own thing, let the students put their own twist on cheers. this keeps things fresh, and new. In the top down style its run now, each game is run the same. But if the chickens head gets cut off by blowout loss. The body gets stuk, and cheers get stale. There isnt anyone to step and keep things going. The students were taking over with the anal cheer Saturday.

Here's the thing though Loki the CC are sheep right now. If someone they feel is a leader starts something then they will go with it, hence R-I-T being chanted after every opposing goal, that has gotten really old and stale. It's just unfortunate that the person that the CC follows is the one that will probably get RIT a bench minor for a cheer he starts.

O-R-G-Y. What's it mean? Teamwork!

For as down as everyone is being about the CC, we're still notorious amongst the opposition and our passion noted by several national news outlets when we were in the spotlight. Our fan section is certainly better than that of some schools that are otherwise far ahead of us.

Also, if you would have us stop telling the other team They Suck when they are beating us, what should we chant instead? Tell them how great they are? Some people just can't enjoy anything :/

Canucks coach Alain Vigneault said today that Pinizzotto might make the road trip with the Canucks next week. If you can't remember, he's been out with a shoulder injury since the end of training camp. With the way Vancouver has been playing lately, I can see him getting a legitimate shot instead of being shoved right down to the Wolves. It's exciting we could see a 2nd Tiger in the NHL very soon! Though it'd be a bit more cool if Tanev wasn't with Chicago right now.

Per WITR pregame, the part of the NCAA that found Madolora in violation recommended a 3 game suspension, but the part that actually assesses the penalty chose a 5 game suspension. He can't play until Air Force comes out.

It's difficult to understand how a team that put up 6 on St. Lawrence can be so bad in the other four games. We have pulled our goalie three times in five games. We have a total of two goals in three conference games (both by Descoteaux, a defenseman). At some point you have to wonder what's going on.
