Does your "your alias says you're Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the United Federation of Planets..."
You are missing the point because your so focus on RIT being a national power house. Their is a clear pattern of RIT playing better as the season goes on. Yes there are exceptions to every pattern. The BC game was after at the time the biggest D-I win in the history of the program. BC was a much better team than Minn and if you even knew, Nathan Gerbe was in the middle of a scoring streak that made NHL scouts go nuts. The Wisconsin game is not a good measuring game either, as I said before on here it was two weeks after the Albany weekend, press was all over the campus, there was a ton of distractions extra week for Wisconsin to prepare it was a recipe for a tough game.
But again you seem to forget something, RIT was in the Frozen Four in their 4th year of full D-I team!!! What other people forget or may not even know is that RIT was on a down spiral as a national power in D-III for their finals years. They had miss the NCAA for two years, was in the middle of a rebuilding year when the announcement to D-I was made and than that team tanked. The fact that they have won 4 regular season titles in five years, an AHA playoff title, and a NCAA Regional title already is amazing and we already are back to whinning about not being a national powerhouse is ridiculous. Rome was not built in day, heck we have not even broken ground on a new arena yet which is another big step towards what I believe is a chance for RIT to win a national title. That along with a move to the ECAC which I believe is very near... My expectations are high, but again it will take time and you complaining is more than a pain, it is putting down all the hard work of RIT's coaching and players, and I find that sad...
