Re: >> RIT Tigers 2011-12 Part II: Making Some Noise at the House that Roars <<

Time Warner just extended the free preview of the sports package, that includes CBS Sports Network, through Feb because there is still no agreement with MSG over the Sabres. So if you don't normally get CBS Sports Network (like me) you'll be able to see this Friday's game.

CBS & NBC Sports Networks have been doing a good jobs this year of getting good college hockey games on the air. Hopefully NBC will open up more to some of the AHA, but it has been a good start so far...

Side note, Next RIT home game against Canisius I can not make thanks to my wife's birthday, you may start giving me greif. So Again I have two ticket to offer up to who ever wants them. Just shot me a mailing address to wnymule@roadrunner.com...

Best Wishes...

Because of CBS' pre game, we're told that actual drop of the puck will be about 8:12 MT or 10:12 ET. Gonna be a long day -- Chris and I have to be at the ROC airport at 5 a.m.

So get on the plane and sleep, get in and grab a bite about 1pm. Hit the bar about 4pm, pass out at 6pm, and then get up and head to the rink 9pm, and call the game, return to the hotel and drink from your fridge that I am sure you stocked up and go to bed… Sounds like a good day to me!

I would like to officially endorse this plan.

Tom, you forgot that somebody has retired from the broadcast team. Though we did get a nap.

For those in Rochester with Time Warner Cable, the RIT/Air Force game is on CBS College Sports, channel 1027, right now (10 PM). The channel is unscrambled right now due to the channel being included in a package of free sports channels being given away to make up for the loss of MSG, so you can watch the game even if you usually don't get this channel.

There's a rerun at 3:30 am too, if you missed the first broadcast and have time to DVR the rerun.

Tigers look awful tonight. No energy, and AFA making them look pretty bad.

Something about nationally televised games always brings out the worst in us. Niagara, RPI, now AFA...

They wore black for homecoming, and I think for the Sacred Heart games this year.

The RPI game wasn't nationall televised, was it? The 1st Wisconsin game was, but I thought they played pretty well in that game....outside of the PK anyway.

We tied Army in a relatively poor performance last season on nat. tv too.

The 2nd half of the game, we at least got a little more room to maneuver in their zone. The first half of the game, all we could do was get into the offensive zone and fling a shot on net; we weren't able to control anything really.

Looking forward to a better showing tonight :)

Was better but the result was the same. Pretty disheartening to get swept and lose 1st a week after we gained it..

As bad as it seems right now, I'll trade those two losses to AFA for one win over them at the BCA. I'm sick of Serratore gloating over how they own the post season and the BCA.

FrankSerratore via Denver Post said:
"We build our team with defensemen that can skate," Falcons coach Frank Serratore said. "That is by design. We would not have had the success that we have had without skill on our blue line. We put the puck on their sticks a lot and tonight they scored three for us."

Apparently defensemen were not capable of skating prior to this year. I wonder what super secret defense lab worked on that? :D

I sure hope so! Oh, and Mitchell had a correction tweet. It's his MCL, not his ACL.
