Were they tried and convicted? No? Then they are not criminals.

But even if they would have been, they are still victims. Their crimes did not warrant a death sentence (for sure in Garner's case, who knows in Brown's since there isn't any video).

It was wrong to say he was influenced by right-wing propaganda. For example, a sign at a protest that read "We came unarmed -- this time" had nothing to do with it. It was just a coincidence that the Congresswoman he shot was a Democrat. It was a case of mental instability, not a case of him trying to enforce his own 2nd-Amendment remedy.

So I'm wondering if these same people see any connection between the protesters and this horrible crime committed by a guy who also had mental issues.

You can be convicted without a jury trial. You still go to court or plead guilty by paying the fine. These guys didn't get a chance to do either.

Sarah Palin, specifically, IIRC. She had nothing to do with that, and DeBlasio has nothing to do with the NYPD officers being killed either.

For that matter, is OJ Simpson a murderer? A jury of his peers says no. Yet I've seen plenty of references to him as a killer. I've probably made some myself.

Taking race and everything else out of the picture, how are you okay with the double standard when it comes to grand juries and their treatment of cops vs. anyone else? If you or I did what any of these cops did, we'd be indicted at the least.
