How the **** did I get lumped in with those two old geezers?I mean with guys like Bakunin, goldy, and grey, it's tough not to stereotype you into their kind of category..![]()
How the **** did I get lumped in with those two old geezers?
That's what I was thinking?
Well, this has been the longest day ever. Finally sitting down, watching hockey, and eating my dinner. FINALLY! I was so hungry.
I absolutely love coaching hockey. I feel like when I'm on the ice, playing or coaching, that I forget about all the stresses of life, etc and just enjoy the beauty of the game..I am constantly reminded of how much I love hockey..(sounds weird, but I didn't know how else to say it.)
I felt the same about softball, when I was playing with our semi-ragtag bunch of players. Great escape from life. Unfortunately, the not-so-good eventually "retired" (family, work, etc schedules) and we had to bring in players who treated our team like a "practice" team. Totally lost my love for a couple years. Only have played one tourney (not with my old team) since then. Still love it, miss it, but my time is over.![]()
The existence of Michigan Tech makes this claim an impossibility.yes, I'm the biggest dork ever, but that's OK.
This is true. The existence of Michigan Tech makes this claim an impossibility.
I still go and play with Calumet's jazz & pep bands occasionally. What Brent said is kind of how I got to feel about band. I'd still jump in marching and pep stuff when I was still living in Marquette, but it just wasn't the same. I love it, I miss it, but my time is over.![]()
/yes, I'm the biggest dork ever, but that's OK.
This is true.
The guy that lived across the hall from me freshman year missed a final because he couldn't walk away from his video game, it was one of those really dorky ones with trolls and midgets and dragons and everything else nerdy you could ever think of. The next day he missed another final because he locked himself in his loft, and couldn't figure out a way down, he was "stuck" there for 7 hours. The nerdiness at Tech is embarrassing. I must have gone to the wrong school, because I don't like or understand any of that bull****.
please do..Next time I see you, I will cut you.
it's Friday for me! I need this day to be over with!Good Morning Lodge.
I am ready for the weekend to show up, only 2 more days of work left this week.
How the **** did I get lumped in with those two old geezers?
Morning Lodge.
Kid had his first track meet last night. Friggin cold and windy out, kid did not throw well, but it was still fun. He was in shorts and tee while everyone else was in warm-ups or sweats. His hands were freezing by the time he threw so he could not grip the discus well and he threw much worse than he did in warm-ups. He had not been slated to throw shot, but another kid did not show so he got bumped up to B team shot and did better throwing that since it didn't depend on his grip. Only he and one other kid made B as 7th graders, rest of A and B are 8th grade.
Oh well, he had fun and will do better in two weeks at his next meet, We know a ton of the other kids from soccer and hockey so it was fun to watch their races too. The throwing events are first and get over quickly so he can watch the other guys compete and just hang out.
Honey, you might be bigger than me, but really... don't mess with the Italian Finlander.please do..
You know Teemu Selanne?Ahh, yes i do have a very good Finnish friend..he's an absolute freak of a hockey player..great hands, great shot..he can score too..now you probably want his number.![]()
He had to have been freezin' his nuts off! While golfing yesterday I wore my choppers in between shots.Looks somewhat interesting when you have someone walking down the fairway in a polo, white under armour underneath, and big deerskin choppers on the mitts.

His roommate put the ladder up on the thing, while he was still sleeping (it was 1PM and it was finals week, roommate thought he was taking a final or studying, or doing anything but still sleeping at 1PM). He was too much of a candyass to jump off of the loft, because "it was too big of a jump", it was about 6 feet off the ground, not a big jump. He was also to stupid to figure out that he could reach down under the ladder and pull the pin that was holding it up. Needless to say, he ct*** out of Tech about mid way through his 2nd semester there. How in the hell do you get locked in a loft??
