I did enjoy my Friday night. Went to a Team in Training alumni party, enjoyed myself thoroughly, and in the process, signed up for the Chicago marathon.

This... this makes no sense. If you completed your Freshman year at Tech, how would you not have the credits to have Sophomore standing? :confused:

Hi, Lodge. I stood in a tent for 6 hours today before I gave up and went inside. The upside is that the Michigan girl was out there longer than ANY of the Minnesotans combined. Boom.

I believe that actually passing the classes is required to achive Sophomore standing.

after watching you finish that boot after mns passed, then do the posters game in flip flops while everyone else complained about how cold it was - i'm not gonna pretend to be surprised.

Jr has his first meet Wednesday. He loves throwing the discus. Hope it warms a little by then. Cold, cloudy and windy here too, although I think it cracked 40, it never felt that warm.

Is it just me or does it seem like breweries that specialize in IPAs seem to make the rest of their beers with bitter hops or just a larger than normal amount of hops? Maybe I need a better handle on my beer styles? I need to hit a beer festival one of these days and get my brain into order.
