Re: Rep Retirement Thread 133: I still hate you all

Bob's home furniture just moved into the DC market with a store in Fairfax? (I get Falls Church and Fairfax tied up all the time) and one in Maryland..... NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I had gotten beyond his reach! Next time, I move to Wichita...... GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAN! :( :( :(

Morning all, been busy and I skipped about the last 8 pages or so. Friday nite I started working another place for massage. Saturday morning me and the GF went up to GVSU for the spring game, and it was good other than it being wet and miserable. Honestly, if they just scheduled it in the Turf building, it would have been 75 and sunny here, not this shibby where it was trying really hard to snow. Later on we went to Holland to catch a buddy of mines band play this dive bar as a part of Groovewalk there. Lots of good rockabilly stuff there. And they totally blew TK's mind when they did Gin and Juice Phish style. About to finish getting ready and head on back over to da eastside.

Side effect of ibuprofen= GI distress. Just sayin'. Why do people thing IB cures all ills and WHY do the IB people not have to put on the label 'NOT for GI distress'? (and why am I complaining? This is good for cash flow in the office...)

Woke me up at 5:54. Sounded like a giant was tapping his fingers on the windows and walls.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! sunday, day of rest.
Just for the record, I never have any problems, really.:p

Mornin' all. Palm sunday!

It's pretty ****ty out but I've got to get out and hit golf balls and do some serious work on my golf game to get ready, tomorrow and tuesday we have meets. I'm just praying this stinkin' rain holds off the next three days.

Mookie, right there with you, golfing in layers sucks!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday:)

I'm finally in MSP. Took a four hour nap in the not so well known Quiet Seating Area which has couches and chairs. So lovely.

PS, Mav, you're something else.

Psycho Aunt just freaked out at me for wearing flip flops in the airport. Tried to tell her that my other shoes were making my toes numb, and I've been in them for three days. Apparently, I'm acting like a 10 year old, and I'm not going to get on this flight because of it.

well folks, 57 hours later, the travel saga is over.. unless we end up in a ditch from Marquette to Calumet.
No, I'm not driving.

Good to hear you'll finally get some sleep!

The Twins won, and did so holding a 2 run lead in the ninth..

The weather here turned out fairly nice:) it's about 50 and sunny!

Good game thus far in New York, I'm hoping Chicago can strike back tonight as well.:)

Daniel Tosh's stand up: funny as all hell.
"That's what the middle of the country's for: people who gave up on their dreams."

Good evening Lodge. Mrs g is visiting friends this weekend. Just me and little g and little gII. Getting ready to fire up Toy Story 2.
Rock!

Morning!

Went and got some coffee. A bit chilly with the wind, but not too bad. Bonus, no snow. :)
I wonder if I should make a small pot... I'm already in the weeds with the homework I have due.

Evening, Lodge. Burn Notice is on TV, short ribs are in the crockpot... life is good.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 133: I still hate you all

Had an awesome time in houghton this weekend visiting friends who are graduating, but i didnt have a fun time driving home today in that gay a55 snowstorm, almost hitting a deer and a turkey, and to top it off some jackwagon gave me the middle finger

If you don't like it....

I've been dealing with this shizzzz my entire life. Different time zone, different area code, same weather quirks.
The snow melted by the time I had tent duty anyway. 40 and sunny, not a bad day at all. I may even have a touch of sunburn on the face.

You know what's interesting? My running has improved since I've allowed beer back in to my life. Hmmm...

I think that says all you need to know about beer. :D

i don't want to hear that word again.... oh, it wasn't the beer that gave me problems... too many carafes of mimosas pre-game... i got steadily drunk for the next hour after I finished and since I took on a fair bit of liquid... no accidents but no fun either... i made it through 2 innings of kickball... and since we sat outside pre-game i was suitably dehydrated and sunburned. This, folks, really is why you stick to beer... 2 carafes and I didn't feel anything... i just didn't realize the rest of it needed time to process.

It's the carbs. ;)

I was surprising functional today despite having a 9:30am-5:30am day yesterday. And no, I wasn't blasmed. :p

As for the poker thing, yes it's a mess. No honor among thieves anymore, that's for sure. And yes, I still wanna play. :( (And I hear BoDog is still up, and they also do sports gambling....I just may have to take a gander at them, since I've heard they've improved everything about them and their site in the last couple years).

ironically, I saw an article about DC allowing online gambling... the ones who benefit is the city gov't of DC... so, the federal gov't may have had a direct stake in this. I don't know how legit the DC online gambling thing is though.

edit: quick read... I guess its supposed to start at designated "hotspots"... hotels and bars... and then expand somehow.
