Kinda wrecked my back yesterday with moving stuff around as part of spring cleaning. Going to the chiropracter in about half an hour. Staying home from work for the morning, at least. Not as bad as it could be, but not great.

I just realized that there are zero sports bars near my house. The closest ones are 25 minutes away.

Trying to figure out where to take my step-father to grab a beer and watch the NCAA final.

Wow, that's worse than where I live, and I'm in the boonies. I have 2 sports bars within 5 minutes. Where do you live that they're that far away?

There is a Senser's in Plymouth and then there is all of the downtown bars. You'd think Uptown or Southdale area would have at least one.

There are places closer that seem like they would be good, but they don't list themselves as "sports" bars. Park Tavern is a bowling/bar, and Champions is a ghetto bar and is mostly Vikings. I have no idea what Bunny's is.

There are places closer that seem like they would be good, but they don't list themselves as "sports" bars. Park Tavern is a bowling/bar, and Champions is a ghetto bar and is mostly Vikings. I have no idea what Bunny's is.

I am not surprised at all that Uptown doesn't have a sports bar...

I don't know how far from Toby Keith's you are, but they have a ton of TV's in there, and for big events they pull down a screen in front of stage and have an HD projector to put the games on. I am guessing that there is no music tonight, just the game, since it is the National Championship game.

It's definitely closer (15 min). Not sure how I am a moran for not knowing every location (I probably am one for other reasons). Kind of why I mentioned it, so someone would give me a solution.

So, in Robbinsdale? Yikes, why?

Park Tavern is a Sports bar, as is Bunny's ither would be fine for boncy ball. I don't know that area, but there must be others closer. Most bowling places have the bar area set-up for sports viewing.

You said France and 100, I think they only intersect in Robbinsdale as they are basically parllel. In that case, Sensor's in Bloomington, Bunny's are good choices. Champs in Richfield (66th abd Lyndale) is not far either. Heck, you could go to a TGIFriday's too. There's one off 394 near bb_dl's favorite bar and one off 78th and 100.
