Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Good afternoon lodge. It's my last week of freedom before starting my new job. Spending time planning frozen four trip. Any suggestions on what to do in the cities when we're not watching hockey? Also, does any non-sioux fan need a pair of tickets? (I'd feel wrong selling tickets to the opposition)

Check with con1977. He and his wife are looking for a pair.

Ahhhh, springtime in the Rockies! Yesterday afrternoon I drove around town doing a few errands and the thermometer in my car registered eighty-four degrees. Earlier this afternoon I drove to the market to buy a few items and drove through thirty-eight degree weather and light rain. I parked outside the market, did my shopping, then returned to my car just in time to see the rain change to snow. The weather guessers may be right on target with their prediction of two to four inches by Monday morning.

Ahhh, springtime in the Rockies. Mid-eighties one day, snow the next day. Gotta love it.;)

Did the intertubes go down? Where are RFAlph and ME USA? Have they been kidnapped???!!!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! sunday. day of rest.

I was out bike riding. When I returned I saw the largest crowd that I have ever seen looking at the cherry blossoms. I almost rammed into an idiot photographer taking wedding pictures. Good thing that I probably was going 2 mph. (Yes, the bride was Japanese.)

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Much to Brent's horror, I managed to be productive today. I got a very good start at cutting up the downed tree in thee woods at the edge of my backyard. I want to push the yard back about 15 feet so I need to clean the tree up, plus it just looks ugly. It has been a pain, because the tree is hung up on 2 other dead trees that I also have to cut up. I just had to quit because I was sick of wading through the mudhole that formed between the tree and my wood pile. I'll have to wait until the ground dries up to work on it some more. The new Stihl worked great, but the brand new gas can I bought for mixed chainsaw gas is complete junk. It leaked all over everything and had some asinine safety nozzle thing that didn't work. Why can't I just get a regular gas can that works, like they used to sell?

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

I wasn't horrified at your decision to be productive, I was just confused. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

I'm going to have to be productive now when the weather is getting nice, or this place will go to hell. I guess this is the "alot of work" part of home ownership. But I don't mind working outside in the yard, so its all good.

Especially with what you want to do to the place. Remember, if you need help cutting up wood or whatever, lemme know. I'm not a complete city slicker. Close, but not 100%. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

I'm coming down with a cold. Should make for a fabulous flight tomorrow.

In a month or so, after we can tell which trees are dead in the yard, I'm having some help come take them down, and i'll need all the help I can get to cut them up. There are some overhanging the house, so I can't do it myself. **** oak wilt killed almost all of huge oak trees in my lawn. I have about 8 trees to take down. :(

Ooooooh, the ACM's are tonight. Awesome!

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

I said nevermind! :p

They really are putting on a good show. Very good.

edit: NICE! Smoke a Little Smoke! I love this song. Can't wait to see it live at the State Fair.
I'm hoping that Zac Brown Band performs Colder Weather. Best song on radio today, and its not even close.

Oh, and now the bring Brooklyn Decker out on stage to present an award, its just not fair!

edit again: Miranda Lambert and Brooklyn Decker at the same time...

I'm probably going to play the Google Game and try and catch The Undertaker's Wrestlemania match. :o He's my second favorite wrestler ever (before I faded as a fan of wrestling), and he's got an 18-0 Wrestlemania record on the line. I kinda have to watch him. :o

Hahahahahaha. I found a Spanish-announced feed on page 5 or 6 of Google search. Hilarious!
