Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Ahhh, springtime in the Rockies! The high temp yesterday for the Rockies' baseball opener was seventy-eight degrees. Today's high is forecast to reach eighty. The weather guessers have offered the notion that by Monday morning there'll be two to four inches of snow on the lawns in metro-Denver.

Ahhh, springtime in the Rockies! Keep your golf clubs and ski parka handy for use on the same day. ;)

I survived getting the wisdom teeth pulled out. Just in case, they gave a prescription for painkillers.

Joe's team won in OT this morning. Last seed knocked off tip seed 9-8. Hopefully I'll feel week enough to go. Feels like strep or something... Can't swallow to save my life (had to stop at one doughnut this morning :p)
Yay Joe's team!
Lil's team also advanced. @ least one more game before he hangs us his skates. :)

Had my wife's niece and her husband over for brunch this morning. First time I ever made Egg's Benedict and it turned out pretty good. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

good party last night... I didn't get up until 12:30-1pm today... still have to drag my butt outside and do groceries... I don't want to go anywhere or invest myself physically in this endeavor... quick question... a girl at a party saying "come over here my friend likes you"... I just assumed they wanted me to pay them attention... I was already talking to my friends and I said "she can come over here then"... yeah, I was sorta drunk and that sounded sorta flip... but I didn't want to play into them. Live and learn I suppose, I'm just trying to think of what the right thing to do there was... I suppose that's why I'm single.

Anyhow... the night felt shorter than it was... over too soon... got there about 9... left around 2... it only felt like 12.... but i wanted to get home before the last train of the night.

edit: I got my colored socks yesterday... one pair of knee length for kickball... some shorter pairs I want to try to wear at work... I feel they may retain moisture too well though... we shall see.

While driving arround doing some errands earlier this afternoon the thermometer in my car registered an outdoor temp of eighty-four. The record in Denver for this date is seventy-nine so it looks like that one is going to be broken to pieces. Ahhhh, springtime in the Rockies.:)

Hey, Shot - you'll get a kick out of this. I was looking for something in the garage and came across some old ski wax. The price sticker was from Gart Bros.

Gart Bros? I love it. That's about five or six ownerships ago. On a completely unrelated note, a ceratin neighborhood bistro with which I have reason to believe you may be acquainted--Chez Wiste--appears to be packing 'em in this afternoon/evening for the Obamaball Final Four. It's in the loow eighties in the 'hood this afternoon Seattle, but the weatherheads are saying two to four inches of snow may arrive by Monday morning. Lots of buds are already out on the trees. I hope the damage isn't too great if snow does arrive.

And for the record I'm pulling for a Duluth-NoDak final. Go WCHA! ;)

Many thanks for the good luck wishes! I got a 91.5 on the exam (200 questions - 17 wrong). Very VERY pleased. I was counting on doing well but being disappointed; I must say, I'm not disappointed in that score. We need a 80 to move on to the physical/clinical parts of the exam and the national and state exams. I have an 89 prior to the final.

Oh - and tomorrow, I get to pick a nursing school!

Anthrax is in Montana. The Unabomber's hideout is there. Glacier National Park is there, too. I'd like to see that sometime.

Glacier could be the most beautiful place on the planet. It's like a whole different world up there

Getting packed up and ready to leave for MN tomorrow. Peace homies. Those of you who I see, great. Those of you who I don't...*k you. :p
