Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Sioux are looking good this afternoon. I'll take my seat early at the happy hockey table, and since I have no rooting interest, I'll bartend at the *k hockey bar tonight. What's everyone drinking?

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Pick your head up... according to your own school you're one of the captains (unless there's more than one of you upstaters)... I know things are rough... but man... if there's a time to be excited and proud its now... your team finished as champions.

I am pretty proud and excited, especially for our 4th shooter who composes the last of the team score. He had an absolutely awesome day on the firing line and pretty much gave us the cushion we needed to win. I am indeed one of the captains, and definitely glad that we were able to end the season on a great note. I just hope that I've left a good impression on the Junior and Sophmore who will be captaining the team next year, and that they will follow in the footsteps that I did for the past 3 years.

Southern Comfort and Coke, please. Over here at the HHT, as my seat was provided for last night.

I will join you at the HHT tonite - a Blue Moon will do.

Good Evening, Lodge!

Finished and delivered the displays for the Old Timers Athletic Club for their annual fundraising dinner.

Nice shooting there hoss(p1015)! ;)

Instead of a mite game after the first period, we had the the Boston figure skating school perform. 3 a-girls. If anyone asks, they were all 18+

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Well, I ended up shooting a 563. Given all that has happened in the past 72 hours or so, I'm pretty happy with that. I started off great, but lost some focus and wasn't quite calm enough for the last 40 shots or so. Wasn't a huge mess after the match, but I did sit down and reflected on my collegiate career and everything recently and almost lost it, but maintained my composure.

We also ended up winning the championship in a decent upset. The favorite's were beat by both us and another team.

Probably going to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and the start of what will become a drunk night. Went to Red Lobstah last night. Headed back to school tomorrow.

Dear Hockey Gods: Please let the results of tonight's games result in SLU travelling to Princeton, Quinnipiac or RPI for the 1st round so I can watch hockey next weekend in person. Thanks.
Good job! :)

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Still not sure which table to sit at. Tied with MNSota 1-1. Heading off for tGovernor's Cup soon.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

I'll take a lemon drop please. Sitting at the HHT, should have been happier with my team's goalie getting a shutout but mookie had to go and ruin that. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Denver wins 4-2. The Pioneers scored the game's first goal for the first time in nine contests. Neb-O scored the next two before Drew Shore scored a PPG at 19:26 of the first to tie the score at 2-2. Jason Zucker gave Denver the lead for good at the 1:00 mark of the second period and Chris Knowlton scored the final goal at 17:50 of the third period.

For the game Zucker had two goals and Drew Shore a goal and an assist. Denver gets a much needed split on the road and exits the weekend the same way it entered it====> in sole possession of second place in the WCHA. The Pioneers finish the regular season at home next weekend against Saint Cloud.

Sam Brittain played well in net this evening for Denver. Nice job boys.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Hey, same here. I've only seen my team twice this year, and I've seen faaaaaaaaaaaar too many MTU games for my liking.
Hi, Lodge. I'm sick, and not the fun, "I had an awesome night last night" kind, or the "someone slipped one past my five hole" type. Straight up nasty cold, combined with not eating enough this week. I passed out in the bathroom at work after I reacted badly to some DayQuil. :( Great impression on your 3rd day, eh? :(
Hope you are feeling better!

I would order something from you except for the fact that my drink would have Sue germs on it. No thanks. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

HHT for me! It may be the cupcake hockey association, but finishing 1st is nice. :) Thanks Broncos.

I wonder if my uncle is going to Alaska again next weekend, since it looks like after returning from Fairbanks last weekend the Spartans are returning to Fairbanks for the playoffs.
