Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Lucky. My workload has increased. They’re adding flights to bring back additional stuff from China.

Lucky to still be being paid, but in order to learn my job I have to actually do it, and I probably had about 3 weeks to go before being signed off...which comes with a pretty decent pay increase.

Plus, I would love for our workload to increase and go back to normal.

Great. Two employees at my supermarket have tested positive. Now what do I do? I can’t imagine there are any supermarkets that have not had employees that have tested positive, though. Arrrrgghhh!

Good Morning Lodge!

I just got to hang out the laundry. Sun makes such a difference to my attitude.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Sounds like you need to move. Since MA only has sun for like 3 months a year.

Well, usually I am doing a bunch of other things- I spend most of Spring traveling about on the weekends and the rest of the week catching up. I ain't moving to the South. I would never make it there. Too hot.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

My new computer has finally shipped. :) Too bad I will have to use the current monitor for another month.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Woke up this morning to filtered sunshine and a snow squall. So weird.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Your old one couldn't run Excel anymore?

It keeps crashing and Windows 7 is no longer supported. When Turbo Tax wrote that they would not support Windows 7 next year, i said I really better do something. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Mookie stuck out as an American today.

Went to the local clinic to get scripts as Mookie was out and he didn’t get to make his trip to the US beg of march.... go in and the registration told Mookie to go get a 2kd stamp ($6.40). Saw dr, blood in labs. When finished when to the pharmacy counter and gave the lady the folder. She throws 6 items in a basket and asked if Mookie knew what to do with them, replied yah. Then stood waiting.

She looks out window and says “the folder stays here, you’re done”

Mookie looks puzzled and says “finished? Khallas? I can go?”

Laughing she says yes, go.

So Mookie walks away. Nobody chases him and asked for money for scripts :)

Socialized medicine gets a big two thumbs up!!!!
