Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

Evening, Lodge.

I'd like to thank whoever took our paper products off the "restricted list" (orders had to be pre-approved before going through, so hospitals/care centers/etc got them for sure). What is normally a 12 man-hour day (2 man job) turned into a 32 man-hour day (4 man job) at my building. My backup did all the misc ground shipments, my co-worker only did freight shipments, I picked all the paper products for ground shipments, and the 4th guy labeled all the stuff I picked.

Estimated 3000+ cases of paper went out today. That's friggin' insane. My building usually does about 10% of what a day's total is, compared to the main building. It was almost 50-50 today.

G'morning to tLodge!

 Hello there!!

Essential employee obviously (ICU RN). Hubs is working from home - especially since I'm working, so he is considered contaminated. (*knocks on wood*) Neither of us have any s/s. We're self-quarantining until further notice.

Good Evening Lodge!

Have taken the virtual plane down to Allentown waiting to see if we get to advance. The local paper picked up the sim thread- when they interviewed the coach and our goalie they asked them what they thought :D

Mornin', Lodge!

Had a nice virtual happy hour last night with some beer geeks (via Zoom). It was pretty fun. Have another one later today with the GPL crew. The site is a little clunky, as in the layout is different depending if you are on a phone or a laptop, but what can ya do?

Good Evening Lodge!

*HT Not only on Board Sim but the CHN had the audacity to make us lose too and to ping me with a notification :(

Feel like it was a real game. Flying home on the virtual jet in a bit.

Evening, Lodge.

The Zoom chat was a success, ended up lasting about 5 hours, spanned more than a few states. It wasn't seeing each other in person, but it still did the job. The organizer decided to make this a weekly thing until this whole thing passes; looking forward to it.

Good Morning RFAlph!

Good Morning Lodge!

I just went to Church via livestream and then we had a Zoom Coffee Hour. I am learning some really interesting things about Zoom. I had it installed for work but never used it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

I haven't figured out how to do that. I got to the part of putting one in but I think I need a plainer background behind me when I choose.

I figured out the virtual background, but sometimes the normal background would still pop up, or I'd disappear on screen. It was weird. So I gave up and left it alone.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

My wife’s sister’s sister-in-law just found out her husband has been cheating on her for the past year or so. Somehow this has become a nightmare for me. My wife is freaking out with paranoia regarding our marriage. I spent way too much time this weekend assuaging her of our commitment to each other. FML.

This is going to come out clunky, but I think you'll get what I'm getting at:
When a problem arises in a friend's or relative's life, one starts to over-analyze their situation, and questions are asked, rightfully or not. Then, a possible over-reaction starts to happen, and then a situation is created. I agree, it sucks.
