Man! Between crossing the river, and being in the vicinity of both a paper mill and the coal energy plant, There is some incredible fog. I usually take a short cut that goes along the river so I avoid the RR tracks along Hwy 10 and a couple of lights, but I couldn't see the turn to the shortcut at all this morning. Probably just as well as it would have been impossible to see the hundreds of deer on the shortcut anyway :eek:

Morning Lodge. Looks like I missed a lot of teen drama over the weekend (out of mostly non-teens). Not going to try and figure out who did what to whom though.

I took a day off yesterday to spend it with my kid - worked on the rink on the pond and went to a ***ty animated movie with him. It was fun. Oh yeah, we went to Culvers and got our free frozen custard for the Gophs hanging 5 on Eidsieve. :D

In late November or early December, I had a filling put in one of my upper front teeth which had chipped. I had asked the dentist if I had to do anything differently, and he said "no". Well, on Saturday, I was sewing a button on a shirt, and I attempted to cut the thread with my teeth. I shouldn't have done that. The filling came out. :( I have scheduled another appointment for Thursday.

I just got up, and am going to work soon. Tell ya what, though, when it's 10pm, I'll ask you the same thing. Wait, nevermind, you'll have already turned in for the night.

I'm on a break from a first aid/CPR training class. Red Cross certified and covered by work. Mandatory for all employees annually. Kind of a nice deal, considering there's about a hundred different ways to die here.

tyler wanted 98 for gilroy... but he is a '98' and that year was taken already. he started counting down and '97' was taken, so somehow settled on 95 :confused: :rolleyes:

I'm required to take a course once every other year. I gotta go in at 5pm one night next month to deal with the four hours of nonsense. Oh well, at least I get to go to it with an attractive woman on evening shift. :D

I was able to get certified this summer on the ship I was on for free. Not a bad deal, I think it was over in about an hour or 2 for us.

Morning, Lodge, I have a benefits seminar today at 11 in St. Paul. Unfortunately, it doesn't deal with the happy funtimes type of benefits :o. It does deal with me getting a 401k plan, though, and a retroactive match (plus interest!) because they changed a policy and I should have been signed up last March. So... that is cool. :)

Man, your luck with teeth and dentist is worse than mine, I didn't think that was possible.
