I knew I should have stuck to whiskey instead trying the **** water.

How is the water in the french quarter? Is it still waist deep, or has that problem been solved?

If by "water" you mean "how far you will get into the average whore" then yes, it's receded a couple inches. ;)

Also: the alcoholic slurpees in the French Quarter are useful for maintaining buzzes on walks between bars. Not that the walks need to be very long.

It's probably been replaced by urine, feces, and vomit mixed in with the occasional dead hobo.

In other words, it's about the same.

Actually I meant the water that had to be drained out of there after the levees broke. Too soon? I didn't think so.

edit: as was mentioned last night, I don't necessarily have a good track record with people who have had their homes flooded

Maybe NMU unleashed some sort of plague and now the entire UP is converting to the hooker religion.

Yoopers drink water?? Huh?? I never knew that. I thought they all drank nothing but Beer and Booze up there. ;)
