Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 98: Favorite Alter Ego

Greetings from the ER. I've had some sort of allergic reaction to something and am covered with a rash. Went to the walk in clinic and my pulse was too high for them to treat me so they wheeled me to the ER. Been sitting in the waiting room for about an hour, wondering just what the heck is going on as it doesn't seem very crowded.

Yipe. Hope you're treated soon and that it's nothing serious!

(also, didn't mention it earlier, but hope you feel better soon mookie, and stop getting chalk fillings, Ralph ;))

Maybe they just don't want to do anything rash. ;)

Seriously, hope you get better soon.

This experience is so not like ER or Grey's Anantomy.

Just saw a physicians asst and am now waiting for the attending. Wonder how long that will take.

I'm required to take a course once every other year. I gotta go in at 5pm one night next month to deal with the four hours of nonsense. Oh well, at least I get to go to it with an attractive woman on evening shift. :D

I was able to get certified this summer on the ship I was on for free. Not a bad deal, I think it was over in about an hour or 2 for us.

Pretty good stuff. We have eight CPR mannequins and two defibrillators, a training one and a real one. Even though everyone has to go through this once a year, everyone still takes it super seriously. I'm pleased that I work with a group of people who care about each other and are committed to working safely in a potentially very dangerous environment. Even though I'm just the "IT guy", I have to go into some places that requires significant personal protection equipment and caution just to replace a keyboard or look into a dead/wonky PC.

When I was sent to the ER for the staph infection in my elbow I sat in the mgh er from 1p until admitted to a room at 1130p that night. Well, sat until 7p, then laid on a guerney until 1130p. Got out 6days later :(

Michigan had their first shoot out Saturday. I was happy that we were the only CCHA team to never have one (zero last year). In fact, we hadn't had an overtime game at all yet this season.

Unfortunately, the crowd seemed to enjoy it. I couldn't convince the people near me to chant "stupid conference" during the shootout.

I'm pretty sure it's 3 points for an OT win, 0 for an OT loss.

WT, Regarding your rep, I wish your school's team was in the WCHA again, too. I remember the era when Michigan and Michigan State [Notre Dame as well] were all part of the WCHA. Those teams all provided fans with good games when they came to Denver's old arena.

Good thing we have the best health care in the world! :p
Get well soon.

We've got another 2" of snow already, on our way to 8" on top of the foot we got yesterday. And it's going to snow tomorrow too. On top of that the ground that was shoveled/plowed yesterday is sheer ice. Between the ice and the fact that my balance is diminished, I looked like a drunk when I went out to get the mail. Good thing I took the shovel with me for balance, because I almost fell three times.

I can't wait to move.

Checking in from the library between my 2 classes today. Yay for a 2.5 hour macroeconomics class coming up from 1:30 to 4, then work 4-6. Mondays will suck this semester.

Hope everything works out Scarlet:(
