Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 98: Favorite Alter Ego

2 things:
I) Mondays always suck.
B) Today's Tuesday.

Ah, but it's a Monday schedule at school. We had yesterday off, and they set up our schedule so we miss one day of the week each semester, so we started last Tuesday (missing Monday) and they proceed to float the Monday class schedule through the week.

ie. President's day weekend we get a 3 day, Wednesday becomes Monday, so we will have then missed M, T, W. Easter weekend Thursday becomes a Monday, and we get Friday off.

Mondays didn't suck last spring when I had the day off;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 98: Favorite Alter Ego

Hi, I'm home. Looks to be an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin I was taking for my sinus reaction. I noticed yesterday that my chest and back had broken out. There was a little on my neck. Didn't itch (at the time), it was just really red, and all over. Got home and changed and really saw the extent all over my back. At the time, it wasn't anywhere else. Woke up this morning and it just totally exploded all over, including my face, which completely freaked me out. It's on my neck, starting on my arms and in between my fingers, on my ear lobes.....well, you get the picture. I'm itchy now, but not really crazy itchy, yet. I got three scrips which I now have to go get filled. I hope they kick in as quick as possible.

I asked the nurse if I was contagious, as I don't want to miss work unless I have to. She said no, but I might have the "scare" factor, meaning it might scare some people to see me like this. Heh. I told her I didn't work with kids. As long as the rash on my face goes down, I don't mind going into work with this. It's going to be a wait and see kind of thing.

We've got another 2" of snow already, on our way to 8" on top of the foot we got yesterday. And it's going to snow tomorrow too. On top of that the ground that was shoveled/plowed yesterday is sheer ice. Between the ice and the fact that my balance is diminished, I looked like a drunk when I went out to get the mail. Good thing I took the shovel with me for balance, because I almost fell three times.

I can't wait to move.
:(

You're moving?

Is the rash red? If so, then you're all set if you still have it for the weekend.

Scarlet, I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. Luckilly it stayed on my back, stomach and legs.

Talking with a friend about possibly going to some Detroit place in April. We'll see.

Not sure if this is appropriate or not, but 48 hours from now I'll be landing in Ft. Lauderdale :)

Yep! Going to Laughlin, Nevada. Low cost of living, right across the river from AZ and an hour from Vegas. And no snow!!

As soon as I recover from the second surgery I'm out of here.

Consider me jealous. You might see Massachusetts maritime's training ship Kennedy in port as well, they just left for their training cruise, but the government has taken control of the ship for Haiti relief. They are going to ft lauderdale to fly underclassmen home and stock the ship with supplies, then its headed to be a floating hotel.

Get a big enough place so we all can crash/rent rooms from you if we go to Vegas. :D

Might as well drive us off the edge, its a short push:D

Yeah. It would be for me too without this carrot hanging out there. This winter has been reminiscent of winters as a kid. "It's December first, freeze the lakes, bring on the wind, and here's a quick two feet of snow for you to stare at for the next five months".
I used to embrace the winter, now I find myself sick of it sooner and sooner :o

Geeze, now I just realized I need to worry about the playoff picture for the peewees too. Our kids sit in 13th of 20 teams in our District and the top 12 make the playoffs. Of course we have from 1 to 3 games in hand on most of the teams above us, just need to win those additional games (and the fair play points too, stupid penalties  ).
