Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

I'm not sure that's something I'd be happy about. :p

I'm really trying to find the motivation to go food shopping.
Why would you want to do that? The Vikes are coming on in a half-hour!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

Here's motivation: It has the word "shopping" in it. Isn't that what the ladies like? :D

Maybe there is a shoe store next door to the grocery market?

Interestingly enough, I'm not like that. Shopping is a chore. Even for shoes/clothes/etc.

I also need to pick up my laptop at Best Buy. When I went there yesterday I brought my copy of Office 2007 and the virus protection software they loaded for me when I bought it originally last spring and they asked me where all the system disks were. I told them I took this thing home fully loaded, no one told me to bring those. Drove home, found the box the laptop came in and found all these system disks and dropped those off, too. I hope it's ready. I suppose I could call ahead. :)

Oh, and bb_dl - please tell me you are at the very least making her pay you for gas (and any tolls).

I agree, especially in the winter. Thank goodness for same day grocery delivery services in my area!

hrmm, likes hockey and hates shopping... If you enjoy cooking and cleaning the marriage proposals will come flooding in! ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

*sigh*
What a weekend.

I was cut off around 2 last night. Had way too much wine for anyone's own good. Try like.. 3 nalgenes full. Plus a lynchburg lemonade or two.

In better news, my tattoo is doing just fine, and I still think it's freaking awesome.

I feel slightly responsible for this whole bb_dl/ST fiasco. I encouraged their pursuit of each other, because I really, really thought more highly of her than that. bb_dl and I had a good heart to heart on Friday night (slightly after he ran through the snow with his arms in the air in a white tshirt saying "I'm going to make this *ing skunk my b**ch" and after we took a walk down the street so we could find the North Star...) and at that point it was just a matter of him deserving much better than that. All in all, it wasn't a terrible weekend, we had awesome breakfast at Suomi, drank a lot of alcohol, and we saw some good hockey (my brother's Mite game)

I'm just glad that I don't have to deal with that awkwardness anymore...

I could deal without the cooking and cleaning. She has me at loves hockey/hate shopping.

I really need to look into that *shakes like a dog coming out of the rain*... little wet out there.

Your Jeep's too old to have serviceable backseats, right? Good, maker her ride there. Too bad you don't have something with a trunk. There has to be a limit on niceness here.

bb_dl - you're a better man than most if you drive her. TI certainly wouldn't think less of you if you didn't. Just tell her to sit in the back and not to talk to you.

And play music really loud for the whole trip, so that she can't talk, even if she wanted to.

I'm 99% sure that he did not speak a word to her between 3 AM Friday and this morning.

Also, I think it was awesome when we drove around in his BA truck yesterday with the windows all down belting out Don't Stop Believin'.

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!!

PB and I just made a little bet.
Wings win, he has to wear my Holmstrom jersey to the next Tech game.
'Hawks win, I have to wear his Wisconsin fleece to the next Tech game.

1. I hope that skunk thing made sense at the time...
2. I was going to ask if you were talking about the mite game, and then I saw the hidden text.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

I didn't know Mookie was in Canada.

hey now!!;)

... hope i just delivered a life lesson to my 7 yo. he isn't feeling well and went and threw up his fruit cup that he HAD to eat because he's hungry. the 'problem' came about because the seat was down so the 1yo doesn't play in the water. he just stood next to it and ralphed (no offense :p ) on the floor three times before I HAD to come in and open the lid. i only used "fukcing retard" once [which i hope was a good thing  ] before i let on that you should make use of one of your two free hands to lift the lid and hit the bowl.

:p :D :p

1. Well, no, it really didn't. Although, PB said there's a big 'coon that gets into the garbage a lot.
2. :D

Probably should have made him clean it up if you really wanted him to learn it. The only thing he learned is a good phrase to use at school:p

well, he IS sick and i'm a caring, loving parent. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

It's unrelated.

As nice a guy I am, I couldn't bring myself to give her a ride home. No. Way.

I'd give her a lift home, but she'd have to ride on the back bumper.

That's fair, right?

bb_dl - I know it's too late for suggestions but hey, that's what I'd go with. You don't sh-t where you eat and, uh, dicking over your ride is pretty much the definition of that.
