Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

a collaborative effort  Dude... we need to import some civilization up there or something... clearly there is not enough going on up there to keep a normal person occupied.

Yeah, because no one from Boston would ever do anything like that.

Oh...wait, a bunch of BC posters have, at least once.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

Sloe gin's summary was close enough.

And I'm not a big enough ******* to leave her here. It may be what she deserves, but that's not me.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

Silence ever after
Walking through an empty house, tears in my eyes
Here is where the story ends, this is goodbye

Knowing me, knowing you
There is nothing we can do
Knowing me, knowing you
We just have to face it, this time we're through
(This time we're through, this time we're through
This time we're through, we're really through)
Breaking up is never easy, I know but I have to go
(I have to go this time
I have to go, this time I know)
Knowing me, knowing you
It's the best I can do

Mem'ries, good days, bad days
They'll be, with me always
In these old familiar rooms children would play
Now there's only emptiness, nothing to say

Knowing me, knowing you
There is nothing we can do
Knowing me, knowing you
We just have to face it, this time we're through
(This time we're through, this time we're through
This time we're through, we're really through)
Breaking up is never easy, I know but I have to go
(I have to go this time
I have to go, this time I know)
Knowing me, knowing you
It's the best I can do

bbdl, an observation... Those who seek to help and stand up for others will be continually be run over if they don't do the same for themselves... It's something I know I need to teach myself.

There's a line between being a gentleman and a good person and being a pushover... Maybe it's projection on my part... but things like this shouldn't happen to people

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

Wait, why would other people being retards chase you away? That makes no sense.

I was talking about the UP, not the boards. Think about it: all of the various dramas from this weekend involve posters who either currently go to school here or went to school here. JFC, I'm starting to get it!

Ironically, I am watching clerks II right now!

*thumbs up*

Well put! ;)

Another way to look at it is to ask what would have happened if the roles were reversed?

You're a good man, Charlie Brown. Foolish, but a good man.

That's going to be one awkward ride...

Another long day of sitting around watching football. Sometimes life is so difficult! I don't know how I make it through.

I might have to go out and pick up some supplies, but thats only a 10 minute trip. So I should live. :D

Dude, f that. Leave her. Period. I'm not joking. I'm not being a hardarse. Leave her.

I liked Flashy's idea: leave her in Superior. She's almost there, but stuck, as you can't walk across the bridge. Plus, the kicker would be that she's stuck in WI!! ;)

I'll compromise and settle for that idea.

There's also a line between being a beech, being a whore, and being both. That line seems to have disappeared this weekend.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

People still use store-bought pron?!?!?

That's what she said! :p

Hell no, I have the internet for that. I just meant soda, beer, chips, etc. :p

Oh and the UP to MN would be like 23 hour bus ride. That would SUCK! But one does leave at 12:01 am ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

Hey! I am drunk and I can still type. It is one of my special abilities. I have made posts I don't even remember, and still spelling is perfect, as it is now. I am also sorry for posting in the lodge, but it seems I don't care anymore. I have been reading these threads for a while and have not posted out of respect unlike other hookers.

Hope to be a member soon though. Anyone like to help?

I'm sorry...and you are????

tLodgers - do we know this poster? Sorry to question, but really, I thought this thread was for folks who hit max rep. Look what happened when we let the last one in here.

Only about 6 from Houghton to the Twin Cities, actually. Done it many times.

Then add in the fact that she would have to drive the rest of the way back to Fargo after that!
