Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

I'm still ****ing ****ed. and, no, I didn't end up in the houghton county drunk tank
Might have made for a better story though later.

Sloe gin's summary was close enough.

And I'm not a big enough ******* to leave her here. It may be what she deserves, but that's not me.
You're a good man for that.
at the least you should be blown before anyone gets near a car.;)
Yeah, that, and take some pictures of it that could go up on the internet at any time.

Oh, and bb_dl - please tell me you are at the very least making her pay you for gas (and any tolls).
Yeah, back in 2003 I went on a roadie to Bentley and in our minivan we had 3 freshman girls with us. We were going to a playoff game there, but they just really wanted a ride to Boston to go hang out with their friends at Tufts. Either way, there was no offer for us guys to crash at the friends place, and then they wanted us to drive all the way across Boston there to their friends apartment. we told em to get a cab, and they never got back to Waltham to see the game. And when they did meet back up with us, they were beytching about how much the cab ride was. We decided to stop at one of the rest stops on the NY tollroad and told em flat out they needed to pay for their share of the gas and van rental or else they would have to find their own rides home. They freaked out about that, but they managed to get the money for us. Think for the rest of the trip only one of the 3 left would leave the minivan at any time to go pee.

Got home a little bit ago. Uneventful ride, sorry to disappoint everyone :p

The Vikings game was pretty **** sweet. I'm looking into getting tickets and flying down to New Orleans.....

Were there any words spoken?

Were there any words spoken?
"They don't sell beer before noon" -me
"I'm getting food" -me
"bless you" -ST (I sneezed)
"thanks for the ride" -ST

and that is it

edit: I think the most telling thing about how I feel right now is that I don't even care that I know she'll be lurking and reading all of this...

Dinner time at Chez Shot. Tonight's soup is: chicken with sweet potato garnished with chile, lime, avacado and tortilla chips.

Dessert: sliced navel oranges accompanied by craisins, shredded coconut, pecans and semi-sweet shaved chocolate. Along with dark chocolate, almond-lace cookies. Bon apetit! :)

Why didn't you make her ride in steerage?

I'll be doing Golden Globes commentary in the TV thread, in case anyone is interested.

Monster: your rep: the board was lodged in there, and the emergency worker knew that if he removed the board, she was dead. Needless to say, her face was kinda messed up (looked like she had partial paralyzation on the right side of her mouth/jaw area).
