I won't play at a table that doesn't have a fun dealer. Not helpwise for me, but schmooze with the players, etc. I love blackjack, and a non-fun dealer takes some joy out of the game.

I've already had a couple eastern friends admit that they are complete wimps when it comes to weather, and that they never really realized it, after they saw the reports on the weather here over the last couple weeks. :D

Gotta admit. Hasn't been that bad here when the sun's up. When it's down it's pretty cold...

True, although the wind is what did it today. When the sun sort of peeked out around 3ish, it was darn near balmy.

On another thought, I should stop listening to the radio, they play the same songs over and over and over. Although Miley's only played once all night lol

Word to the MF. My blackjack experience only extends to Mystic Lake, but still: if the dealer's not cool, we move right away.

NOW you're talking. :D My dad rarely gets sick, and when people ask him how he stays healthy, he always say, "Bugs don't like Scotch." And, me being a good son, I try to follow his advice. (Though with bourbon.)

Finally home. Flight got into Detroit about 20 minutes later than scheduled, then the Syracuse flight left about an hour late between delays and waiting to de-ice. Got into SYR at 12:30am, then taxi to my car, then drive home, arriving at 4:30. I'm getting a 120,000 mile tuneup on my car in 4 hours and 45 minutes. Time for some sleep.

First off, I don't even know her so I can't make any judgements about her. Second, I'm not opposed to anything she's done (at least as far as what I've seen here). I'm just stating what I would do if I were the parent of a 17 yr old in the same situation.

Kids need boundaries and parents need to enforce them. Yeah, I know there's a lot of parents that could use a boundary or two themselves... :eek:

My kid gets this and he is way younger than 18. Just because I did stuff when I was that age doesn't make it any less dumb than it is now.
