They can't decide what it is going to so but it will be a lot because Mr will not be here to shovel when it needs to be done. We were going to travel to Dartmouth but now, who knows.

Several Old Crows (insert joke here) on the rocks and a couple glasses of champagne last night = no hangover. If I had had 3-4 beers instead I'd feel like poop. :)

My new year wasn't too interesting... slipped on down to a near by bar... its a good place but its a sports bar so any girl that comes in is part of a couple and when you place that on top of my "sit at the bar, don't talk to anyone, and then move around staying just far away from the dance floor that i hope I get noticed but not so close where I crap myself". I've gotta change that in 2010.

My resolution is not to make any resolutions.

In all seriousness, though, I have a few this year:

- Learn to go with the flow more. Specifically, not get so angry over things I have little or no control over. The angry hockey texts are one thing and are at least partially in jest, but stuff like the Twitter/personal meltdown I had when I was stuck at O'Hare can't be happening. I don't like the idea that sometimes things are out of my hands, and sometimes someone or something other than me can take control of my destiny (probably because it seems like only bad things happen when they do.) I have to learn to accept that.

- Not overthink things so much. The perfectionist in me comes out often, and causes me to think up ridiculous things and scenarios that probably will never happen (likely tied to the sheer amount of crappy luck I seem to have as mentioned above.) As a result, I end up mentally paying a dollar for a 5-cent job, and life is more stressful and difficult than it needs to be.

Basically, learn how to deal with things when they suck.

I came rolling in around 4:15 AM. Short sleep and I'm fine.
