Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

That is awesome. I spent the greater part of the evening talking in a very thick, very slurred southern drawl. Also, we did our usual midnight sledding run, which wasn't as fast as usual because we got about 5 inches of snow between the point people started getting there and when we headed out. And, when I decided I was ready for bed, I said, "I'll be right back", went in to what used to be my room, and laid down on the floor and was promptly out like a light. Thankfully, between FM and my mom I ended up with a pillow and covered up, but I woke up at 7am very confused and with a very sore back.

Sounds like fun!

I was over at Big Poppa's house (known him for geez, 27 years now?) and we rang in the new year in our old-school-style: video games, movies, and a couple bottles of booze.

How does Adrian look?

Well, she was pretty mousy looking in Rocky I this morning, but started glamming up a bit during Rocky II. Which I stopped watching once the Winter Classic started.

Yeah, she looked like she was starting to age quickly once Rocky IV came around.

You're on your game today, Miss Scarlet. :D

Took down the Christmas tree today. I hate fake trees. Beautifully enough, there was no hangover for me. Drank some Wop that was 5-o & orange Hi-C. Really sugary, couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Bad combination. :p
I'm glad it's finally 2010, and even more glad that I'll be 18 in a week! :)

Happy New Year Lodge!! :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Oh, and I forgot, I made a couple of NY resolutions.
1) Quit smoking.
I've made it today, at least, and the cravings aren't terrible.
2) Start working out.
This has been my resolution many years, but hopefully this time it'll actually stick. At Tech, we get a free membership for the gym, and my best friend seems to want to go, and PB always bugs me to go in the AMs.
3) Get better grades/go to class.
I did quite crappily this semester, and a lot of that had to do with procrastination, not feeling like doing homework, and not going to class. I'll be kicked out if I don't do better this semester (I'm on ac-pro now.)
4) Drink less.
I'd imagine this will tie in with 1 & 3. (I always smoke when I drink)
5) Stop sweating little things.
It's possible to see me as a b*tch, because I freak out pretty easily about small things. Hopefully I'll be able to turn that around and be more relaxed about everything.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Hello Lodge. We made it home from Wisconsin. Some yucky weather tried to stop us on the way there on Monday night, but we made it through.

I'm so incredibly sick of driving. 20+ hours in the car in the past few days. Enough. It was nice to see the family but always having to go somewhere else got really old really quick.

Anyway, happy new year :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Yeah, traveling isn't fun over the holidays. It's fun when you're there, but getting there sucks.

I really don't need to say my resolutions do I? :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

I resolve to be more obscene. I was sub-par towards the end of this year. I know I can do better. I started off well last night, after sending a text telling my bro what he could do (after he told me to * off). It was rather tasteless, ethnically, racially, and handicapably offensive. Apparently he showed the inlaws what I said. I was actually wondering what they thought of me at that point (since they're not fond of me in general). :D

Well.....what'd you say? Man up and post it. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Ok, both of these teams would beat tech.
How does Adrian look?
They look good, but they shouldn't have given up 2 goals in the last minute of the second and let hamline back into the game. It was 4-2 and adrian had all of the momentum, now its 4-4 going into the third.

They seem really fast and very nifty with the puck, had some sweet setups to the goals and several more that the hamline goalie came up huge on. They definitely seem like the better team.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Is it the defense, or is it the Adrian goaltending?
