Gave notice at 11:30 this morning. Office Manager took it well. I tried to talk about the fact that I've gained a lot of experience in the office and that I'm not leaving with a bad feeling, but she laughed and said, "yeah, right. You're miserable. So am I!" :o So, it's done. I am officially committed to going back to school in January. :D

Good Morning Morning People!!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! silly saturday is here!!

Last night was the office Christmas Party (yep, we still call it that!) and I won one of the 3 grabs- a Keurig Select Brewing system. I was totally ignorant of these but it seems like a really cool thingy! off to open the box and see what it is all about.

Usually my boss gives out 3 big grab gifts. This year she did it a really weird way- We had a Yankee swap and the boss put in 3 gifts but didn't tell us. Each of her gifts was attached to a larger gift and that was how the grab worked instead of drawing names. I had the thing that could of got me a 32 inch TV but the last person traded out and her gift was attached to the new toy.

Oh, and I am on vacation this whole week!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Time to get my butt moving on the most absurd desk purchase ever... 3 pieces... 1.4 miles round trip... if I do end up pulling it off that'd be 4.2 miles of walking today.

wave 1 of 3 done... the desk top... hurt more on the arms than anything else. Going to take a break before the next one... I don't think the shelves/file thing that goes underneath it will be too heavy but i want my arms to recover.

Morning Lodge.

Finally cleared the rink this AM. The one I had cleared during the snow fall Tuesday is completely *ed up and worthless - water had welled up through the ice making slush, crumbly ice and ridges. Gave up and moved it to better ice. it's further from shore and will be harder to light, but I was not ready to try to fix the other stuff without a real Zamboni. Need to go out now and get a heavy duty, long extension cord to plug in the lights. May need to make anothe light pole too.

I tried a cup of hot chocolate (meh) but the gizmo is way cool. No more stressing when you have company and they want decaf, tea and coffee all at once.:D

It was good to see you too before the game sent you into a tizzy of depression. I feel bad that I couldn't come out and be more social with folks at the game, but I was a little tied up. It was nice to see you and bostonewe and I did "see" shrader and suzie although I didn't get to talk to them. It was kind of cool though that ALL you guys were practically right in front of me.

To clear up the "three top players" thing, I did mean D'Amigo (obviously) and Bergin (semi-less obvious) and Kerins (he is one of the top scorers this year.

And aside to walrus: RPI is now 2-0-0 at Agganis. :)
