Morning...
Got my new 12 gauge last night, it is a beautiful gun.

I'm enrolled in an internal training course, it is 4 weeks of classes spread out over 10 weeks total, so I've ended up in training very often over the last couple months. After next Wednesday I'll be done with the training, and I'll actually be able to get some work done.

So then they will be paying you to work. hmm

Thanks everybody for your thoughts and prayers. It is always difficult dealing with things of this nature with friends and or family. I have had a couple close friends pass away from cancer within the past few years and I currently know of three others who are fighting it today.

Yikes. Not a good patch for you!

Just spoke with my wife who informed me that a cousin of hers--to whom she is very close--found out he has a node in his bladder that is malignant. Its presence was detected when he was having an examination for another condition. The tumor was caught in the ealy stages of development. He will have a procedure done in his doctors office in the near future. If you have room on your prayer list to include him, please do. THank you.

went to the drs, have a mri tomorrow at 7.45, hopefully before the snow hits. my shoulder hurts like hell, the doc thinks I ruptured my right bicep .

Let's just say (for those of you who don't know me on Facebook): I was pretty excited to wake up at 8am to sirens and my neighbor pounding on my door and firemen telling me I needed to get out of my apt asap... Even more excited to hang out in the cold for a couple hours with barely any clothes on... And just thrilled to find out that I can't stay there for a while because my apt was in the damage zone... It's been a long day, but I have a new appreciation for sexy firefighters lol

I understand about forgetting how to drive in the snow . . . kinda. But why to people's brains turn to oatmeal when it snows? When conditions suck, why do **** you wouldn't do on clear, dry roads?

After picking up the kid at hockey practice tonight. At one intersection, some moron woman decided to pull out halfway across and wait for traffic to clear. Those of us in the lane she pulled into and stopped are supposed to just stop (on slick roads) until the other direction clears for her. I get to another interesection and another yahoo is turning left, but is doing it from the right lane, which is where I'd like to be to turn right. More like that followed...
