Neither is math, but you don't seem to listen to us, so what's the difference?gmann,
Good news isn't allowed here.
So, what do the monkeys do then?
ETA: I'm worried about the latest Deathstorm coming. For one thing I'm supposed to drive 4.25 hours north (to Silver Bay) tomorrow - at least away from the storm, but then back tomorrow night. For another, I'm afraid the ice on the pond isn't thick enough yet. What happens then is the weight of the snow forces water up from under the ice which then causes the snow to freeze to the ice making it all rough and pebbly with ridges and stuff. Hard to get a nice rink out of that without a ton of work.
Neither is Mel, but she doesn't seem to listen to us, so what's the difference?
Just spoke with my wife who informed me that a cousin of hers--to whom she is very close--found out he has a node in his bladder that is malignant. Its presence was detected when he was having an examination for another condition. The tumor was caught in the ealy stages of development. He will have a procedure done in his doctors office in the near future. If you have room on your prayer list to include him, please do. THank you.
Smoothing out the ice sounds like a good job for the kid!So, what do the monkeys do then?

Congrats!I just accepted a promotion via my employer.
Regarding the Deathstorm. This morning I heard on the radio (830 WCCO)that the make up of this strom only occurs every 10 to 15 years?????????
That's a sure-fire sign it's not going to be that bad.

You know what else I love? How sure kids get that they're going to have a snowday. This goes for the university kids, too.
This reminds me of the things they have at McD's about the employees that have worked there for 25 years and whatnot.No. With my promotion I can cook the french fries all by myself.
Ditto, not the first text I wanted to wake up to this morning.SiouxTechie texted me earlier, apparently there was a fire at her appartment building.
Good thoughts headed your way ST and let me know if you need anything.
It was slightly amusing.Morning Lodge.
According to my rep I missed someone almost murdering Bakunin.

My conversation with my mother today:
"Mom, I think I'm going to stay in Houghton today."
"No, you probably shouldn't, there's that huge storm coming."
"Exactly, so I need to be able to get to class in the morning."
"If this storm comes, classes will be cancelled."
*brief pause* "Are you high?"
Going forward you can call me Mr. VD.
That's disgusting. Geez, get an ointment or some sorta treatment.
