Gmann: I'll keep your friend in my thoughts too.

Mornin' Lodge; posting from behind the filter at work. Death Storm 2010 has happened upon the 847 region quickly this morning.

Actually according to the weather channel, "Death Storm" doesn't begin til noon, this is just mother nature warming up & testing out the snow makers;)

Mornin' Lodge! Snowy couple days ahead in the 847/630. The winter storm warning says 6-10" starting at noon and falling over the next 24 hours but the forecast shows only 3-6" counting what's already fallen. Should make for a fun day off :D

Their is ample evidence to suggest that 'diva like it a bit on the rough side. :p

Based on the smiley I realize you meant this as a joke but this is not cool at all. I joke all the time on the board and on facebook and in hindsight there were probably times were I've crossed the line so I'm not in a position to sit and rail on you but IMO somebody needed to say this is not cool so I just did.

SiouxTechie texted me earlier, apparently there was a fire at her appartment building. :(

Good thoughts headed your way ST and let me know if you need anything.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 92: Let's Keep SiouxTechie Out

Just spoke with my wife who informed me that a cousin of hers--to whom she is very close--found out he has a node in his bladder that is malignant. Its presence was detected when he was having an examination for another condition. The tumor was caught in the ealy stages of development. He will have a procedure done in his doctors office in the near future. If you have room on your prayer list to include him, please do. THank you.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 92: Let's Keep SiouxTechie Out

No. With my promotion I can cook the french fries all by myself. ;)

So, what do the monkeys do then?

ETA: I'm worried about the latest Deathstorm coming. For one thing I'm supposed to drive 4.25 hours north (to Silver Bay) tomorrow - at least away from the storm, but then back tomorrow night. For another, I'm afraid the ice on the pond isn't thick enough yet. What happens then is the weight of the snow forces water up from under the ice which then causes the snow to freeze to the ice making it all rough and pebbly with ridges and stuff. Hard to get a nice rink out of that without a ton of work.
