He just likes to do everything possible to tick people of around here, and most of the time people seem to take him seriously. He's actually a pretty nice guy.

It's OK, I'll find a way to introduce diva and RC somehow - it'll be fun.

I still want my Fresca dammit!

Firefox keeps crashing on my work computer of late. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn't help. :(

For those of you keeping score at home regarding little g.

He routinely walks about 10 - 20 feet at a time now. He still has a long ways to go but I now envision him being able to run one day. (He is still working on his balance and he cannot get upright without some sort of assistance.) Looking back at the not so distant past I had doubts if he would ever be able to walk.

His speech is labored and if you are not around him much it can be difficut to understand. However, he has an impressive vocabulary and is now beginning to talk in sentences. He can count to twenty and almost knows all of his ABC's.

For Halloween he is going to be Buzz Lightyear and little gII is going to be Woody.

Miracles can happen! :)
Cool. So dad, are you going to be taking a candy tax, you know, skimming a little off the top of the collection? ;)

Hi there Lodge folk. I thought this week: I don't have that much to do all day. Wouldn't it be funny if I tried to catch Ralph? Like, beat him to 100K? People would be into it . . . it'd be fun . . . make a mark for myself in the Lodge . . . etc etc. Then I did the math. It's like 4,125 posts an hour to get there before he probably will. :o  Shoulda thought of this in '08.
Well, there's always the good chance that you could beat him to 200,000. ;)

I may have to eat one of my own on the D-1 side.
Canniable!! ;)

Owing to the wintry weather we're having in Denver, I've just received word from the executive chef here at Chez Shot that on the menu for tonight's dinner are two homemade favorites: chili and cornbread. A great cold weather meal. :)
MMMMMM...... Cornbread, ain't nothing wrong wit dat!!! :D

'Afternoon, Lodge. Dreading tomorrow at school--the plans left for the Econ classes are "let them have a work day to get caught up." On Friday. The day before Halloween. With a sub. *headdesk* After that, it's NMU/Miami, then headed to Houghton for the battle of the Huskies on Saturday.
Yeah, thats going to fly like a lead balloon.

Yeah. Add in the fact that I'm bringing candy and we have a recipe for disaster.

So I bought an important piece for my Halloween costume. I have a feeling I'm going to have one ringer of a headache after the game Saturday wearing these things...

Stripper heels and fishnets?? ;)

'diva: I'll try to not poke the stupid people, but only because you asked nicely. I just get bored.:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

Yes. Because THAT would be a good thing to wear to a hockey game at Tech...
...and it wouldn't do much to dispel the girls from NMU reputation. :D

That said, I see no reason why this is a bad thing. Techies do need to see females every so often, to remind us that there is a life beyond Halo. :D

Afternoon, Lodge. I hate rain, at least when I'm working in it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

Just received this note from SiouxFanInSeattle himself about twenty minutes ago. Great news.

...enjoying the Denver weather? Heh heh. Well I'm glad that is behind me. The surgery took about 6 hours, primarily due to an issue with the prostate being "stuck" to the intestine. But other than that, it went well. I was out of the hospital the next day, which was quite a surprise. The recovery process is going well. The pain level is much lower than I expected - in fact I have mostly taken only Tylenol. I will find out the pathology results when I get the catheter removed next Wednesday. The surgeon told my wife that he expects it to be clean. And he was able to save both nerve bundles! I'll let you know more later.

No. It's mine all mine. I will send out the little nutcases and take 100% of the stuff. I will then distribute as I want. ;)
