The Golden Golfers' Feetsball team plan for bowl season, eh? Competitively, it's sound thinking. :D

[woodshed] [bloodshed] [hat trick]

My prediction. If this team loses Saturday there might be a posting for a head coach position soon. Can you Say Tony Dungy? You read it here first gang.

Mish Michaels taught a course at Lowell in "how to be a smoking hot Indian weather girl"! ;)

my favorite bar in state college, pa was the ratskellar, where you didn't buy A beer, you bought a case of rolling rock ponies. Then you'd have 100 peeps walking around with a case in their left hand being held but the cut out handle and a bottle in their right hand. Always enjoyed visiting there.. Big foozball stadium now.

So....when Michigan State beats the Gophers in football this weekend Don Lou Cheeah is gonna get fired. Okay, I'll remember I heard it from you first. ;)

I may have to eat one of my own on the D-1 side.

You are correct. Seating is limited. I can get two tix to each game. However, Mrs. g is contemplating attending. If she does I may just end up purchasing a SRO ticket or saying to hell with it and stay home.

FWIW I spoke to the person in charge of tix at the U. He mentioned that all accessible season ticket packages are buy one get one free for all U of MN sporting events. Pretty cool. I am going to have to call my people at BSU and get them to do the same............

Oh, you can get an extra SRO for that series for sure. And there always seats in sections 2 and 3, where you can sit with the students. If you are like tDarkness, you can even get some free barbecue sauce from the students.;)

So the company that makes masks for H1N1 is laying off and the company that makes checks is hiring????

Does Brent write that many checks?

Surprisingly, only 1/3 of our revenue comes from checks.

Owing to the wintry weather we're having in Denver, I've just received word from the executive chef here at Chez Shot that on the menu for tonight's dinner are two homemade favorites: chili and cornbread. A great cold weather meal. :)

Having grown up in PA and now with a sister at Penn State, I will say this about the school...it has one of the most powerful alumni bases I have ever seen. I know all about Michigan and their alumni everywhere, but when it comes down to it, I run into and talk to Penn State alums more often than Michigan alums (hell, when I was working for the ballet, one of the directors of choreography was getting the tech guys to update him on the Penn State score over the in-house headset). I will also say that it's reputation as a party school is most definitely deserved, so bear that in mind as well...There isn't much to do in central Pennsylvania and then, when it starts to snow...
I've never met someone who went to Penn State...

Yet another poster thinks Red Cloud is a special ed. teacher in Schenectady. This person also thinks he went to Michigan, just because he knows who Jed Ortmeyer is.

That's right, the poster is UMICHhockeyRULZ.

Wait. Red Cloud isn't a special ed teacher? That makes a lot more sense. He's still a douchpotpie, but that's beside the point.

'Afternoon, Lodge. Dreading tomorrow at school--the plans left for the Econ classes are "let them have a work day to get caught up." On Friday. The day before Halloween. With a sub. *headdesk* After that, it's NMU/Miami, then headed to Houghton for the battle of the Huskies on Saturday.

Easy killer.

Relax and have a Fresca - you can have the one I haven't given to goldy.

I've never had any issues with Red Cloud. I know his replies can be edgy, to say the least. The only real incident I've ever noticed was the run in with Mr. and Mrs. Chickens, and that was going both ways, IMO

He just likes to do everything possible to tick people of around here, and most of the time people seem to take him seriously. He's actually a pretty nice guy.
