Also:
But "you're still an horse hole" doesn't make any sense.
Kinda what I was thinking as well.
Billy Blanks, actually, but yes to that too.
Yeah, I'm going to have to start not replying to him in the D2F thread. I should know better than to argue sense into him after reading some of his perdictions about the Lions and Tigers this year.

Hello Lodge.

Made it back to MI Sunday night. Would rather be in AK. 4 day weekends are great, but spending 2 of the days traveling makes for not enough vacation.

Had an awesome time (except for Friday's game). Met WTW. Asked him for a Lodge summary 'cause I've missed several pages.

I have way too much work to do, so I am goofing off online. :D

Quote of the weekend, as heard at 5am Friday at the hotel, "I need my eff**ing shoe!" Some girl was not too pleased and there was yelling and screaming. A half hour later when my friend went to use the fitness center she saw a guy on the ground with 2 policeman over him.

Ok, back to work. :(

You know you had a good time when somebody gets arrested. ;) :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I knew he was going after Maine fans, he was defending Merrimack from UND fans and now he's going after PC fans. I'm trying to figure this guy out...

He got Rimbaud rep.

It could be worse though, he could be...

Man, the Union-St. Cloud thread is like a train wreck. You don't want to watch, but you can't look away.

...UnionHockeyManiac is a special poster. He's the Jockstock the ECAC has always never wanted but now have. You can play the game of "Poke the bear" all day with him and he'll never really bite, but he will think he did with a killing stroke.

Sitting here on the crappier

playing golf Thursday afternoon in the 46 deg cold. Then looking forward to the Friday after workride to Amherst to see the boys open the season

Afternoon Lodge. I have a bad story to tell.
:(

Hey Lodge,
I'd like some advice (and am so desperate for it, I'll even ask here).

The boy was sick with the flu all weekend, but still managed to come in 3rd for both his races, earning him a spot in next weekend's race in SC. If he wins that race he goes to another one in CA and could possibly win a Pro spot for next season.
Anyway, he wants me at the races next weekend...and I've found a possible way to get there. He's driving down next Wed...way earlier than I could, but I can get a one way flight Fri and drive back with him and as of right now that flight is affordable.

Should I go? 2 things that make me unsure are:
1) I have a pair of tickets to the Penn State game. I already paid over face value for them. Don't want to lose money and pay for a flight. Also would enjoy going to the game
2) To save money boy shares a hotel room with his dad. Looks like I'd be sharing hotel room with boy and his dad. Akward! (have not met the dad, have only been dating the boy for a month and a half).

What do ya'll think I should do? Either way I'll probably enjoy my weekend. Sounds like boy will understand if I can't go...but he has stated he wants me there.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

You tried...really hard...but just couldn't find a way to make it work. It sounds like you're iffy about it. You've only been dating for ~6 weeks, and that's a lot of money to put down so early on when you already have the chance to go see your team lost to PSU live and in person.

The quote about St. Cloud and hydro electric power was hilarious. Good job outta bigblue while I'm on the subject....

hokeydad must know some of us: he made a joke about Murray's age.

Yeah that was a dead giveaway. I also suspect it might not just be one person.

He claimed to be both a BU and BC fan...
Seeing that I am a big BU fan, relax and get a life.

My only point was that BC has many F's in my opinion better then SW. The board only is enjoyable if the posts are about the subject and add a view. Not childish stuff that is a waste of time reading.

You might be right but that wasnt how I saw it. Huge drop in production from previous year, sees very little even strength ice. Frozen 4 last year is when it really came to the front.

Very good player, huge goals in regionals last year but if someone is a top F in league, they dont stick back on D, outisde PP and they would get more then fair share of even strength ice. Going from 51 pts to 15 is quite a drop.

Go BC!! I love the Eagles as well

Go BU!!!!

Go BC!!!!

Love them both.

I am having YAG laser surgery to my right eye late this afternoon to clear up what couldn't be removed when I had surgery back in 2000. I had the same thing done on my left eye a few years ago, so I know that there is no pain at all, but I am, as usual, concerned about being the target of video game. :)

I am back. Now I start worrying that the blur won't clear up. I remember going through this for the other eye a few years ago.

As long as it doesn't interfere with your ability to post on USCHO, I wouldn't worry about it. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Afternoon Lodge. I have a bad story to tell.

A high school friend of mine has an 18 year-old sister. She had a massive heart attack in her dorm room at Michigan about three weeks ago. She was rushed to the coronary ICU at U of M hospital, where she somehow pulled through, but it was determined that she would need a heart transplant. Last I heard, the doctors weren't clear on the cause, but they think it may have been an auto-immune disorder.

She seemed to be doing well, as she was up and walking this past week, trying to prepare for the surgery. They found a heart and she was scheduled to have the operation this morning, but suddenly experienced a major stroke. She is unable to move her left side, and things do not sound good. :(
Yikes! prayers for her, her family and you too!

WHat he said!

I need a RF. I snapped at the idiots that are still going on about last yrs VT UML thing and told them to go make a thread where they could sissy slap each other without the rest of us involved. jcarter7669 thinks I don't own the thread and should go make my own:rolleyes: Some people are such imbeciles!

Sure you didn't accidentally have YAP surgery? I don't think that applying Rep to your eyes was a good plan. ;)

Good luck to her :(

Afternoon, Lodge.
