Went to The Groveland Tap for dinner tonight.....nice.

I'm jealous. You were able to eat deep fried everything. Their cheese curds are so much better than what you get at the fair. Also, the beer's good, too.

I am having YAG laser surgery to my right eye late this afternoon to clear up what couldn't be removed when I had surgery back in 2000. I had the same thing done on my left eye a few years ago, so I know that there is no pain at all, but I am, as usual, concerned about being the target of video game.

Morning!

Fire alarm went off this morning at my Apt building. Thankfully I was already out of the shower. So I just took the last 5 minutes I needed and left for work.

Its never actually a fire. Stupid thing goes off like 15 times a year. Sadly its the fire alarm that cried wolf and will probably get me killed when it is a real one.

God, how can you be such an ***HOLE? I can't believe how offensive that post was!

Peewee draft went way better than expected. I drafted a team for hockey, rather than neighborhood kids or buddies (I may have picked a couple a little higher than I should have 'cause I know them - or their mom's are hot ). And I got a good coach in the bargain. He was a head coach in squirts last year, but didn't want to commit to it due to new job responsibilities. Seems like a great guy and our philosophies for running the team match up well. I may be ostensible head coach, but he'll be the real hockey guy. Our goalie's dad will help too. Drew a crappy travel tournament though - it's in SCONNY . Maybe I should see if I can find another one and cancel out of that one.

Off to client meetings all day.

I'm missing the first practice, as is my son (and probably half the team). It's tomorrow night, the night before MEA break and the night of the last home Edina football game. We'll be on the road to the Wisconsin Dells for a waterpark weekend. The other coach can just have the kids who show up skate and get to know each other.
