Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

No, I was in the last row in the upper deck, I was a little too far away for that. I would have made it over center field fence, this guy almost did, but they were able to pull him back over.

The queens are good, but as for hockey, you should focus on that little team in northern Minnesota that you root for, they're looking good. The Wild are looking.......un-rebuilt.

Pffffft. Helllllo, the reason I did not mention tbeavers and gopher football is because they are locks.

What kind of breakfast can you get here in the old Lodge? Besides bacon, naturally. Is this a pancake kind of place? A doughnut-and-coffee? Scones and spinach-egg-white omelets?
Actually, we're a full-service kitchen, capable of making whatever you want. And a spinach-feta omelet does sound pretty good right about now.

Good morning, Lodge. Time to do some dishes and laundry, then make breakfast and coffee.

Oh, I know where that is, thats right near GV's Downtown Campus. You would have to double check the bus schedules and what not, and I would assume they've got some place all set aside for runners to park there, but you could probably park at GVSU's campus in Allendale and then catch the 50 to the Downtown Campus, it has a stop right there at the YCMA. The Rapid is free to anybody with a student ID. Thought I would mention that to you for any of your friends that would be going to watch you run.
Thanks for the info. Actually, thanks to Team in Training, I'm staying at the Marriott Saturday, and I can park at the Campau ramp and will be walking from the hotel to the Y.

It's a rest day for me.

The high in 202land is only going to be about 60deg. I suspect that it still will be too warm to get any snow in the "northern and western suburbs".

Morning!

Thick, wet snow here in the TC this morning. But not cold out which is nice.

Edit: oh and happy Columbus Day.

Oh well, at least the queens and the wild won't let me down.
You must have really low expectations if the Wild aren't going to let you down.

Morning Lodge.

First day of training out of 5 this week. Boredom.

And a spinach-feta omelet does sound pretty good right about now.
I have never thought that a spinach-feta omelet sounds good. That sounds like something that i would never willingly eat.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Greetings from my new temporary work home. New temp manager is on vacation day today so I thought I'd get this post in since it's pretty quiet here. I'm thinking my time on the board will be severely limited during the day for the next three months or so. Don't miss me too much!! :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I would like to know how after I went to an AT&T store almost two months ago to update all of my information (address, name, etc.) none of that was in effect when I had to call their customer support today. Effing AT&T. Oh, wait. My drivers' license number was correct (for my married name), but my last name wasn't correct on the account (it was still my maiden name). Explain that to me.

I'd blame AT&T alone, but I had the same problem updating my information when it was still Cellular One. What is up with these idiotic cell phone companies? I update my information once, that should be enough. I shouldn't have to check two months later to make sure it's all correct.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I had the most bizarre dream last night.

I was doing some project with my co-intern when this crazy lady from another department comes in and chews me out for not being interested enough in the job. My co-intern and I later discover that she is a militant feminist and a furry, and had made a post about me on the Internet, referring to me by name. I printed off the post and was ready to turn it in to my boss when I woke up.

I need a vacation. From what, I don't know.

CC to melmac - blame me and my fat fingers for the unsigned, possibly strange, rep. :o :)
