Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

The drama of youth hockey is ridiculous again. It's only peewee C, but the coaching matters. It can make bunch of kids have a fun season and improve their abilities, or it can make it a sucky season where they don't improve. I may end up being a head coach, which is really stupid since I can barely skate - at least the peewees are better than me. But I may be better than the alternatives.
I grew up playing C league for the Rosemount system - so you know I sucked. There was only one year where my head coach was not the father of a player. It was easily the best year for me and the team as a whole. We played better as a team and I finally learned how to make a true hockey stride that season. Unfortunately, that was my second year of bantams, the last year before either midgets (junior gold, now, I think) or being good enough to play JV or better.

OCB is now the Wal-Mart of dining establishments.

When wasn't it?

Afternoon, Lodge. It's always a bit frustrating when a coworker, who you thought wasn't as qualified as you are, gets a job over you. No ill will against her, but still.

Other than that, the snow's finally starting to stop, and I only had to leave half an hour early to get to work on time. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Cripes it has already been a long week...........

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

OCB was always awesome when I was a little kid, they always had all of my favorite foods and ice cream. The older I got the more I realized that OCB isn't all that I had once thought it was.

Yeah, and I thought Wal-Mart was awesome when I was a kid, because we didn't have one and it had a huge toy section. Then, I worked at one.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

The only time I've ever been inside an OCB was at ... wait for it ... a Groom's Dinner.

Old Country Buffet. All you can eat of crappy, fattening food. Where the Wal*Mart customers go for dinner.

A blonde is showing off her new tattoo of a giant seashell on her inner thigh.

Her friends ask her why she would get such a tattoo and in that location.

She responds 'It's really cool. If you put your left ear up against it,

You can smell the ocean.'

EWWWW!

180 degree turn around, it seems. Thanks:)
That truly shocks me. (no sarcasm here)

You sailed away to China in a little rowboat?

Happy Earworm!

Hope everyone is doing well. Rehab is going OK. I'm just dwelling on my next surgery, and when that's going to be. I really dread them going back in, but at the same time I'm excited because this nightmare will finally be over.

We're getting the stove and chimney cleaned, so nice warm fires begin tonight. Hopefully some homemade bread will closely follow because now that I can taste it again I'm really looking forward to it!

Is it Friday yet?
No.

he's going to get his junk pierced?
I immediately thought of Haunted.

Afternoon Lodge. Work is kicking my *** this week and I have a short week, being on site two days and off on Friday. :(

:( Better someone who cares and has integrity even if they don't skate well!!
