Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Evening, Lodge. Picked up some venison burger and steak today from a friend; next week, I definitely plan on brushing those steaks with olive oil and throwing those babies on the grill.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Like 30 Rep threads? :p
Ok then so nothing. :-P

One is never too old to learn new things. :D
I feel like this line has potential for a very funny t-shirt

I will be spending a lot of time down by the glass in a corner with my camera- away from all the mess and monkeys.
Its when the monkeys throw poo you need to be afriad.

YES. Thanks for not letting him burn it!

Most of the significance would be to the local community, so I'd send the Goodhue County Historical Society a note or call them some day. They seem like they have a decent-sized collection, and this box would probably be something useful, especially since it sounds like a fairly well-off family. I'd also check with the Minnesota Historical Society if Goodhue isn't interested... let me know, and I can look up a collections department person for you to contact. Definitely Goodhue first though - they'll talk to the family and see if there's anything particularly sensitive they ought not to donate.
Wow you are such a dork, I mean I am a dork so I can say that.....but I didnt realise how big of a dork till just now (says the girl posting on the hockey message board I know, but at least I am no longer on the 1st page of top posters, took a long time to fall of that list!)

I've resently started studying to become a massage therapist. I'll assume that I can book you for an appointment around the FF. ;)
Funny enough I will be in central america for the frozen four. I noticed that on my calender last week. Which is funny cause I was all like "yeah I am totally going to go to the FF this year, its been a while, it would be good to see some peeps, play some hockey, burn some abandonded buildings!" but I will be in panama.

Unless you're planning on taking over Panama and the Panama Canal to have your self crowned Queen, that's not a good excuse to miss the Final Four and the shenanigans that will be going on this year in Detroit. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Paging WTW:

My friend got our tickets for the games in Alaska. UM didn't get public tickets for the games, only player tickets (despite my friend having been told by the ticket office over the summer they would have tickets).
Anyway, he went through ticketmaster.
Our seats are going to be section 116L row 9. Feel free to join our mini-UM section if possible.
Awesome! I'm working on getting tickets now - still waiting to see if the whole crew is planning to attend or not, then I'll purchase.

It looks like you're sitting just behind the penalty box, eh? Should be fun. I will keep you posted - and I'll certainly see you there! I'll be in my Michigan home white jersey. It's still blank on the back, as I didn't find the time or money (or room on the fabric) to have "West Texas Wolverine" stitched on it.

9 days until hockey on the Last Frontier.

we used player tickets when we went up two years ago.... the ticket office didn't use them all for the parents and there were only about 20 of us total. those were the ones they "sold" to us.

we picked them up at the arena.

I really can't believe he didn't know that...maybe his history classes didn't cover HI and AK becoming states...

Sheesh, even I knew that Hawai'i and Arkansas were states! (wink wink)

And dude......tomorrow is gonna be such a long day......waiting for that cold brew.....:(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

I just took some NyQuil and I can suddenly feel all of the tension going out of my shoulders. Drowsy FTW. Zzzz...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Wink wink? Are you looking for someone to tell you that you shore have a purty mouth?

I think you want to say that, and I'm here to inform you that I don't swing that way. Sorry to disappoint you. Say, have you met Rimbaud? :p
