Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

gee, if i was bryan adams i'd sing, "it was the summer of 82!!! woo-a-woo!! me and my baby in a eighty two!!!"

(of course, bryan adams had no real reason to sing summer of 69, only to have the radio play, "me and my baby in a 69!!" at the end....and laugh and laugh and laugh ;) :D )

When I had bronchitis in college, they gave me 10 days' worth of doxycycline, so you'll almost certainly be getting antibiotics.

Every time I get a cold/sinus infection/hay fever, it now develops into bronchitis. It is probably a great time to stop smoking.

Probably a good idea to quit smoking. :p

When I got bronchitis, it hit me at the same time I had the flu - I was sick for three weeks.

Yeah I am on a week tomorrow. Pretty sure it was a cold or weak flu that started it.

Congrats! Which time zone is that?

BTW, has duper posted the details about his goal yet?

Well, I tried to compensate for the time change. I'm 12 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. My User CP listing shows bigmrg74 scoring at 10:43pm, and you repping at 1:27pm. When I posted the stats here I changed them back 12 hours to get them onto EST. Maybe that was overthinking it. (But I'm brilliant now!:confused: :) )

My records show that I repped you at 1:27 AM EDT on Wednesday.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Hi, Lodge. Had a real dooshbag come through my register tonight. Kinda wrecked any good mood I had.

But the timeclock wished me a happy birthday when I clocked in, so I guess that's something :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

They tend to do that...what got them to (I'm guessing) overreact?

The guy had around $20 worth of coupons that he never told me he had, so when his wife swiped her credit card before the transaction was complete, when I totaled the order I just hit the "credit" key. There's no going back after that. He says, "I have these coupons" and I went "Oh, crap..." He got all peeved and incredibly rude and condescending while I was apologizing up and down waiting for my CSM to get there to tell me how to fix it. And then I fixed it, by voiding the ENTIRE transaction [they had almost $200 worth of groceries] and re-ringing everything up, coupons included. It took forever, when he could have just gone to the service desk, had them void the few items that the coupons applied to, and then rang those up with the coupons, which would have been way easier for EVERYONE involved. He even, at one point, asked for the store manager. Seriously.

Joke's on him, though -- he's got two near-$200 charges on his credit card now, and the first one won't go away for around two weeks. I hope it prevents him from doing something he really wants to do.

I hate people. Except for the ones I like. But everyone else -- rage and hate.
