gmann is still bumming over his failed ticker-tape parade up in Bemidji. :)

True. However, I will be the one laughing next year while attending BSU's ttp and you will be at home all cuddled up in your monoploy blanket crying over spilled milk because you were not invited, again..........;) :D :p

See what happens when you bring the Don out and have to explain yourselves in front of everyone

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

I don't even want to guess who I am.

Evening Lodge. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! :)
I did, in spite of work.

A good friend of mine lost his 15 year old son on Friday due to suicide. Wow and holy shiat! :(

I have no idea what to say to him. It is hard enough to lose a child but a suicide takes things to an entirely different level.
Don't say anything; just be there for him.

Sorry gmann. Thoughts go out to your friend and his family

My daughter suffers from depression. Therapy and meds helped, but the biggest thing that turned her around was graduating high school. I have no idea what your friends son was going through, but in my daughters case, peer pressure and just plain old teen years pressure wreaked havoc on her psyche. Now she's in the work force and PT college, and she's happy and thriving. I want to grab every kid who has depression and suicidal thoughts and shake them and tell them "just get out of high school - you'll see how people really interact".
A-*ing-men.

Afternoon, Lodge. Had a great run this morning, a great breakfast, and managed to get the dishes washed after lunch. Don't know why, but I could be a homemaker...

In regards to this adult video, are you planning on making a cameo role(minor part played by a prominent performer in a single scene?? If so, count me out if you are thinking about selling one to me. FWIW no pun intended by the use of the word "minor" as it relates to you and a porno involving a horse. :p :D :)

Conducting your latest animal husbandry project I see.

Man, that's tough. I've got two that are 14 and 13 :(
California? Movies? Horses? Count me in, but I thought Big74 was in charge of all things equine? :D
If it involves headbutting said equine :D
Yeah that sucks more then I even want to imagine.

Over the weekend a friend of mine lost his one year old daughter after his girlfriend left the baby in the car for three hours in Texas.

What are you suppose to say about something like that.
Holy ****! Poor kid :( :( :(

Yes as that story is also buzzing around here as well. That is effed up. W t f is wrong with people?

According to the Strib, murder charges have been filed in that incident.
Discussing it with all of the locals we hang out with in Wheaton, Browns Valley, Graceville, etc., there's a real concern that this church and it's pastor are up to no good. Here's hoping for justice in this tragedy, and exposing the group if the suspicions are true.

FTR - I'll be passing through 94/hwy 27 a lot this fall. If I'm heading out on a Friday, I'll let you know. I could leave earlier and maybe we could meet for lunch somewhere.

I am game. Just let me know.

Sounds good.

I feel like an idiot for ever driving out there on hwy 12. The 94 route is quite a bit faster, and a much easier drive. Once I get on 27, I only have Hoffman, Herman and Wheaton to go through. I do see quite a few coppers on 27 though, so I can't go freeway speeds.

Hi Lodge.

Is it time to go home yet? My parents are in town for one more night and I'm looking forward to going out to dinner with them. They told me to invite the guy I'm dating...but we've only been dating for 2 weeks so I don't think I should subject him to the parents yet...even if he'd get a free meal out of it.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind, as long as you give him a hand-job under the table. Just warn him not to aim for your dad's shoes.

And on the plus side, her dad's blind so he'd just think he dropped something off his fork. ;)

Which reminds me. How did the gf react to her ahem "gift" you got her at the state fair? Sly dog. :p
