'Morning, Lodge.

1 person shifts at the campground for the rest of the season. So far so good.

'Bando--let me know where you'll be so I can get your shirt back to you! Oh lord, you all are going to have fun with THAT one...

This....does not sound good....

I left my reading glasses at home this morning. Made it a bit difficult catching up on my Entertainment Weekly this morning on the train. Had to run to CVS to pick up a pairof those magnifying reading glasses. Was not prepared to shell out $10 this morning.

Hi Lodge.

work sucks, why can't 3 day weekends be even longer? Like, 4 day weekends or something?

My boss thought he'd be able to call me and ask me work related questions while I was at the football game Saturday. He should know better. Then he tried calling Sunday when I was in the middle of nowhere not getting a cell phone signal. Expecting me to work on my holiday weekend is not acceptable!

Morning Lodge

Dad
Is that you? TF sounds like something my dad would have done:D

Lol! My grandpa's taught me how "expendable" farm animals were. My Mom's dad was a hog farmer before I was born. Mom told me that once he was loading the hogs onto the truck for market, and a big sow started go after him in the chute. All he had was a ball peen hammer, which he used in one precise, fatal blow. Apparently the stockyard driver said "Hurry up and drag her onto the truck, it's only a half hour away"

Only $10? Good to know--I need to invest in a pair of (relatively) cheap glasses. It's for a Halloween idea, not for vision purposes.

Morning Lodge
Recently back from 320land. 13 geese, more huge sunnies than we could eat at camp, no mourning doves, lots of law enforcement interaction.

Do you miss 320land yet? ;)

I had a blast up north as well. The weather was perfect! Caught enough Walleye to have a fish fry to feed about 12 people.

My head is very foggy this morning..............

A good friend of mine lost his 15 year old son on Friday due to suicide. Wow and holy shiat! :(

I have no idea what to say to him. It is hard enough to lose a child but a suicide takes things to an entirely different level.

:( I wouldn't know what to say either...probably just a hug and an "I'm sorry".
